ENJOY A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE - The charm of the mountains, perfect in every season. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped. The Gsies Valley is full of meadows, forests, streams, trails, and activities for all ages. The building offers a wellness area (for a fee) and a kids’ playroom. Just minutes away: St. Martin in Thurn, Santa Maddalena – Vallalta, Lake Braies, Tesido, Monguelfo, San Candido, Dobbiaco, and Brunico. The space An ideal apartment for anyone wishing to visit South Tyrol while enjoying a warm, pleasant atmosphere and full comfort. > The house accommodates up to 6 people. It is a cozy Tyrolean-style mountain home in the stunning Gsies Valley. Relax, breathtaking views, family-friendly trails and excursions, ski slopes, traditional restaurants, and much more await you. ***We recommend browsing the photos with descriptions to discover all points of interest and activities in the valley and surroundings (we are always happy to provide suggestions ;-) Check-in is by appointment. > The local tourist tax applies: €3 per person per day (children under 14 exempt) is required > Identification documents will be required for proper registration THE HOUSE This cozy and cute apartment (2 BEDROOMS) is fully furnished and equipped, offering WiFi, TV (with Amazon Stick if you have Netflix or Disney+ accounts) and consists of: - Entrance - Living room with open-plan kitchen (equipped with cookware, appliances, dishwasher, oven, etc.) and a sofa bed for one and a half persons - 2 BEDROOMS (one double, one with a single bed and 2 additional single pull-out beds if needed) - 1 bathroom with window, double sink, shower cubicle, and bathtub - Outdoor space with table and chairs for al fresco dining - Covered parking on-site (FREE) - Bed linen and towels are provided for the number of guests (included) WELLNESS AREA – available for a fee: access costs €30 per day (regardless of the number of people). The facility features a Turkish bath, sauna, chromotherapy showers, and a relaxation area with music for a rejuvenating experience. KIDS’ PLAYROOM – also in the building, an indoor playroom for children (0–7 years) with soft area for the little ones, table football, and more. SKI ROOM – heated for winter use. WINTER – Snow usually blankets the area heavily, transforming the landscape into a magical, serene world. FIS-certified track at Santa Maddalena; Val Casies–Monguelfo trail connections; Monguelfo link to the “Pustertaler Skimarathon” towards the 3 Zinnen Dolomites Plan de Corones, the #1 ski resort in South Tyrol near Brunico, and the Tre Cime Dolomites ski area near San Candido In San Martino, a temporary ice-skating rink is usually set up Christmas markets in San Candido and Dobbiaco: enjoy local crafts and traditional culinary specialties The largest “Krampus” event takes place in Dobbiaco, Alta Pusteria GRANFONDO VAL CASIES / 2027 EDITION The GranFondo Val Casies is one of the most famous and beloved cross-country skiing marathons in the entire Alpine region. It takes place every year on the third weekend of February. Saturday is dedicated to the classic-style race, while Sunday features the skating-style race. There is also the “Just for Fun” group, for those who want to enjoy the experience without the pressure of competition. And, of course, there is also the MiniValCasies ;-) SUMMER – The house is located in Prateria, adjacent to San Martino in Casies (BZ). Surrounded by pristine nature, it is ideal for mountain lovers seeking tranquility. The Gsies Valley in summer is a natural paradise: green meadows, fragrant forests, and crystal-clear streams provide perfect settings for hiking and outdoor activities: walks along the Ries-Aurina Nature Park trails, trekking to panoramic mountain huts, mountain biking, or picnics by streams or in flower-filled meadows. Fresh mountain air and Dolomite views guarantee relaxation and rejuvenation. Local villages offer markets, traditional products, and cultural activities to fully experience the mountains. Well-marked trails are perfect for families, children, and mountain biking enthusiasts. MOUNTAIN BIKE ENTHUSIASTS – For a gentle ride through the valley’s greenery, try the Gsies Valley Cycle Path (Talblickweg). For a longer, mostly downhill route, the Drava Cycle Path from San Candido to Lienz is highly popular. FAMILY ACTIVITIES – The Gsies Valley offers many children’s activities, including the Reierhof Wildlife Park, the Fairy Tale Trail, and the Squirrel Trail for adventurous walks, Kneipp paths at Rudlbach for cooling off, small ski lifts and playgrounds in Tesido and Monguelfo during summer, and farm activities at Kradorfer Alm with games and teepees. In the surrounding Alta Pusteria area, families can enjoy the Barefoot Path on Monte Elmo, visit MondoLatte in Dobbiaco, or the Gnome Village in San Candido.
