Completely renovated 1 bedroom apartment 1/2 a block from Lucerne Ave. in downtown Lake Worth Beach and less than 1 mile from the beaches. This one bedroom has all the comforts of home with a full kitchen, dinette seating for two, large breakfast bar and a large pantry. Everything is brand new including quartz counters, shaker cabinets, new vinyl flooring, and a totally renovated bathroom. There is plenty of storage in the kitchen, and a nice spacious closet with wardrobe. Light and bright! This one bedroom apartment offers a queen bed with and a small closet for storage. Our beds also offer plenty of storage underneath the frame. We use a premium gel infused memory foam mattress which all our guests have said is very comfortable. The bathroom has been completely updated. There is a ceiling fan to assist in air movement to keep yourself cool at night. There is a full-size kitchen that features 4 burner stove, oven, toaster and microwave. We have a coffee maker and a Keurig for your coffee needs. There is a plenty of cabinet space in the pantry next to the refrigerator. The cabinets also store basic cookware accessories dishes, glasses, mugs, wine glasses and utensils. The kitchen area also includes a small table for two. Some people use this table as a workstation. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for two. A loveseat & coffee table complete the living area space. There are plenty of windows in the living area, recessed lighting, and a fan to keep the air moving. There are faux wood blinds for your privacy. There is a split-AC system which is quiet and easy to use. Impact windows and the concrete block building combine for a secure and quiet apartment. Guests will have unlimited access to high-speed Wi-Fi internet and a 43-inch tv is provided to stream all your favorite shows. Each apartment has their own router so your space is private and secure with a unique user name & password. You will not be slowed down by other users jumping on the network. It is not a public shared network like you would have at a Starbucks. For your days out on the beach, we provide two beach towels. We have other basics like an iron and hair dryer. If there is anything you need, please let us know. A washer and dryer are located on the premises for your convenience in the backyard. This a private space behind a fence. You will enjoy the tropical backyard space which also includes a large couch, lounge chairs, an outdoor shower and a beautiful high-end outdoor kitchen (see grill operations under house rules). There is a beautiful water feature, landscaping, and up-lighting that goes on at night with a timer. This location does not require the use of a car but if you decide to bring one, we have off street parking for all of our guests in the back behind the white vinyl fence. There is security lighting and cameras around the entire perimeter of the property, including the parking area. We also provide a place to lock up your bikes if you prefer to travel on two-wheels! Keyless entry will get you in and out of your apartment so you don't have to worry about a key! You will have access to the entire one bedroom apartment with a unique keyless entry code. The common areas on the property include the backyard which took over a year to create. We built a tropical paradise for you and other guests to share an enjoy. The custom water feature is a soothing sound that permeates the backyard. The tropical plants attract butterflies and birds. There is a large couch to relax with a louvered pergola to regulate the suns rays. There are lounge chairs for taking on full UV and help synthesize vitamin D, and an outdoor shower when you need to cool off. The final piece of the backyard was a beautiful outdoor kitchen with an expandable umbrella to keep you cool. Behind the backyard area are off-street parking spaces for all the guests. The backyard area also includes a washer/dryer for all guests in a small laundry room. The Parrot Cove Neighborhood Association is named for the flocks of green parrots nesting in our trees. Residents are an eclectic mixture with varied professional backgrounds and lifestyles who share an appreciation of old Florida. The Neighborhood includes Lucerne Avenue on the south, the golf course on the east, the south side of 13th Avenue North on the north and the east side of Federal on the west. The neighborhood is almost entirely made up of single family homes, some dating from the heydays of the Florida land boom in the 1920s but most built in the next wave of Florida’s growth in the 1950s and 60s. The neighborhood is family oriented, with safe streets and no through traffic. There are dozens of restaurants and shops within the downtown walkable/bikeable street grid adjacent to the intracoastal waterfront, and across the bridge from the beaches. The beaches of Lake Worth offer more shops, restaurants, a fishing pier, beach services and plenty of parking. It is the most amenitized beach in all of Palm Beach County! 10 minutes to the airport Lake Worth Beach is ideal for a short or long stay in this eccletic seaside village. Just of the things to do: Rent a bicycle and ride to the beach or up and down A1A to nearby cities like West Palm Beach or Lantana or visit other beaches; Golf at the Public Lake Worth Beach Golf Course downtown less than 1 mile away, or the par 3 in Palm Beach a couple miles away; rent paddle boards or kayaks at "Kayak Lake Worth" on the intracoastal; Go to the Lake Worth Playhouse a couple blocks away to see local artists perform in plays, or the Stonzek Studio next door for independent films.
