Basecamp: large home with hot tub & king beds

Located minutes from the world-famous Narrows Bridge, our home is the ideal basecamp for a large group to explore Tacoma, the Olympic Peninsula and beyond. Boasting up to four King beds, a well furnished kitchen, extra large TV and fireplace in the cozy living room and spacious backyard with hot tub, this home is easy to find with convenient freeway access and near to shopping, dining and Tacoma's best activities. This is the ideal setting for a fun hang out on a quintessential PNW adventure. The space Welcome to Tacoma Basecamp! This sprawling, single story home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of hang out space for everyone. Each bedroom comfortably sleeps two, with two spacious King bedrooms and two smaller rooms that sleep two separately in extra long twin beds (or get cozy together and request that our team setup these rooms with King configurations as well). Our hall bathroom features a deep soaking bathtub and the ensuite bathroom in the back bedroom has extra storage and a stand alone shower. If you brought work with you on this trip, settle in at our designated work space in the dining room, with lateral space for two to office comfortably. Come together and enjoy your meal prep in the recently updated kitchen featuring plenty of tools and supplies to jumpstart any meal for a large group: a complete spice cabinet with oil and vinegar, pots and pans, baking sheets and mixing bowls, serveware and utensils, bbq tools and unbreakable plates & cups for outdoor entertaining. There’s even a cocktail shaker for the mixologist among you. Don't worry about storage; there's a large pantry with plenty of space for a few days or a week's worth of provisions. If it's grill season, enjoy prepping and sharing your meal outside with our gas grill and large patio dining set. After your food is ready, gather around the long dining table with plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the meal together. Continue the evening in the cozy living room with a huge sectional couch watching your favorite movies together on the 65” smart TV or take a drink (in plastic please!) out to the hot tub under the patio lights. In the morning, sip on some locally roasted coffee (whole bean provided with grinder for either french press or drip coffee preparation) out on the back patio in the large, private backyard before starting your adventure. Guest access The house is best accessed by car, though public transit is nearby. Ample parking for large parties with multiple cars. less than 5 mins to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge less than 5 min to groceries, coffee shops, etc. less than 5 mins to hopping Sixth Ave with ample bars & restaurants 12 mins to Tacoma Dome 12 mins to Point Defiance Zoo and adventure park 40 mins to SeaTac Airport Other things to note Up to three well-behaved dogs are allowed. This home may not be suitable for hosting families with small children. We have a fireplace, hot tub, open shelves and other features which are not child proofed. Let us know if you have any questions regarding kids or pets on the property. The house backs up to Silas High School. We have a back gate with easy access, but for guests' safety and privacy it is locked by default. If your party intends to use this gate to access the high school, please let our team know in advance and we will remove the padlock. As often as we can, schedule permitting, we like to provide complementary early check in (3pm) and late check outs (noon). However, if your group wants to arrive even earlier or stay even later, we provide extra early check in at 9am for $150 and extra late check out at 3pm for $100. Our cleaning staff is happy to have the overtime hours! We can only accommodate one guest per week with this extra service, so please ask as soon as possible so we can block it out for you.
