Welcome to a little slice of heaven! This ground floor apartment has spectacular ocean views, sleeps 4, comes with a 4 seater buggy and is centrally located between Catseye Beach and the Marina Village. Transport, restaurants, pools, sports club & marina are all nearby. The space Poinciana 009 has flexible bedding to suit your needs - both rooms can have either 1 x King bed or 2 x singles. Split system air conditioning and ceiling fans will make your stay comfortable in the warmer months. Babys' needs are also catered for on request, including a car safety seats, portable cot with bedding, high chair, and baby bath plus beach toys. The open plan living and dining space overlooks the tropical gardens with magnificent views of Catseye Bay and Whitsunday Island. You can relax on the sun lounges on the patio, taking in these views as you watch the wallabies graze on the lawn. The patio has a gas BBQ and dining setting to further enjoy the open outdoor private space at Poinciana. The newly renovated functional kitchen has a stone benchtop and is fully equipped for self catering. A handy laundry is located opposite the kitchen with a front loader machine and a dryer. The complimentary electric buggy is available to take you to the nearby marina, resort centre, pools, beach, restaurants and other shopping on Hamilton Island. There is buggy parking directly in front of the Poinciana 009 entry - no stairs! Poinciana 009 is the perfect place for a small family to enjoy the magic of the Whitsunday. Guest access You will enjoy the tranquility of the Poinciana Pool and BBQ area, with lounges and tables for use only by Poinciana Lodge guests. All island guests have FREE access to the Hamilton Island Main Resort centre which has table tennis, futsall for visitors to use. The Resort Centre is also where you'll find swim up bar swimming pools and further down the beach you'll see the Bouganvillea pool which are all free for your swimming pleasure. Access to the many scenic trails and hikes on the island are a great way to connect with nature. If you're after meeting new people, there are also many free activities offered to all Hamilton Island guests, just check out the Whats On guide on the HI App and join in for some trivia and bingo fun, or be entertained with some live music while you appreciate a magnificent Whitsunday sunset! Dent Island Golf Course, Beach hire, Sports Club facilities and tour options are available at a price paid direct to the operator. Other things to note The Hamilton Island App, which can be downloaded through the app store on your smartphone , is a handy pocket-guide to everything there is to see and do. Restaurants, buggies and activities are in high demand so it's important that you plan and book ahead to avoid disappointment. Groceries Hamilton Island has an IGA supermarket for all of your grocery needs. There is a bottle shop conveniently located next door. Hamilton Island is mostly CASHLESS. To avoid card fees at HIE outlets insert your card, if it’s link to a savings &/or cheque account, don’t tap, & advise the server. (Some independent shops which take cash might still charge debit card fees) (Trader Pete’s, the Swimwear, Resort & Lobby shop at the Resort Centre, Lobby Shop at Reef View, Airport Shop & Post Office don’t have credit card fees.) ℹ️You can deposit or withdraw cash at the Post Office, with a physical card (except ANZ & BOQ), subject to daily limits in place by Bank@Post. You can also exchange cash for prepaid MasterCards sold at Australia Post Hamilton Island ($5.95 for the card). Cash can also also be withdrawn over the top bar on the gaming level at the Tavern, where cash can also be used for drinks. ❌There are no ATMs or Banks on the island.
