Rural retreat in the heart of the Limousin countryside this renovated farmhouse sits on a hill with far reaching beautiful countryside views. We are in a very peaceful spot perfect if you are seeking tranquility and rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of a city. We are located in the south of the Haute Vienne close to the Dordogne and Correze borders, with lots of places to visit from charming villages and local markets to Chateaus and nearby cities. The space Ground Floor Very large open plan living, dining and kitchen, great for socialising with friends and family. Kitchen - double ended breakfast bar, electric oven, gas hob, American style fridge/freezer. Oak beamed fireplace with large wood burner. Large curved flat screen TV with both French and English TV available together with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Bedroom 1 (Ground floor) – Double bed, en-suite shower room with WC and hand basin. Separate ground floor WC from the downstairs hallway, in the hallway there is also a storage cupboard that contains cleaning equipment, ironing and laundry items. First Floor There is a small office area which leads to Bedroom 2 – A large bright dual aspect room with king size bed and a full en-suite bathroom including, walk in shower, separate bath with hand shower attachment, hand basin and WC. Outside A gated drive leads onto a fully fenced plot around the farmhouse with large farm yard with ample space for parking cars, there are lawned areas and planted borders surrounding the property. The farm yard opens out onto a magnificent view across the valley. At the end of the barn attached to the farmhouse is a large covered deck with private pool, not shared and solely for guest use. The pool is 6m x 4m, it is unheated but warm enough to use throughout the summer months. The pool area is situated to make the most of the far reaching countryside views. The deck has a large rattan corner sofa and dining set. There are also sun loungers and hammocks to relax and enjoy your stay. A BBQ is provided to take advantage of the weather and enjoy some alfresco dining! Guest access We are onsite to welcome guests.
