We have specifically stayed away from carpets and fabrics and made sure that our furniture can be completely disinfected after each use. We have always taken the time to disinfect all surfaces that our guests can touch or come in contact with after each and every stay, including light switches, remotes, door knobs, etc, and our commitment to offering a sparkling clean home has always been reflected in our reviews. We have also always steam sanitized all bedding and towels after every use, and we have the necessary stockpiles of cleaning supplies and sanitary products in order to not be affected by temporary shortages. Mountain views from master bedroom #1 are only obscured due to the tall trees behind the property; - Large east facing deck with table, umbrella, chairs, barbecue/grill and bug zapper. The deck gets full sun from the early morning until the mid afternoon, allowing for great morning coffees and daytime sunbathing as well as for cooler more enjoyable temperatures on hot summer evenings; OTHER USEFUL FACTS: - Constantly maintained to keep a like new feeling, with all damaged or worn items immediately replaced, and frequently refreshed dishes, cutlery, towels and bedding! We are proud to outwork all other area rentals and to offer all guests consistently high service. - We believe that even the most beautiful house can be instantly ruined by poor hygiene, so we put extra effort into each cleaning and preparation before a new group arrives! It takes 2 persons an average of 5 hours each to have everything set up and ready, not including the off-site washing and steam sanitizing, to ensure that everything is as clean as it can be. And we don't stop here! Guests with allergies can even request that we only use hypoallergenic cleaners ahead of their stay, and we'll be happy to do so! - One 3 in 1 convertible baby crib and a high chair can be provided for parents of young children at no extra cost! The crib and the high chair are both made of wood, and the mattress is a high quality pocket coil mattress. We will also include a waterproof mattress protector, but in order to ensure absolute hygiene and avoid any allergy problems, we will leave all bedding up to the parents to bring their own! All items were purchased brand new in August 2016! Guest access - Radium Escape is equipped with an August smart door lock, allowing for key-less access to the unit for your entire group! The system works both automatically and manually, and is user friendly for all ages. - You will receive an automated e-mail once your reservation is confirmed, directing you through setting up your wireless keys, or we can set them up for you. The keys will automatically activate at check-in time and expire at check-out time, based on your reservation details. - A physical keypad is also available and can be programmed to any code that is easy for you to remember. Other things to note Additional features: - The pet fee is $50 per stay, for up to two well behaved pets. A third pet may be accepted for a total fee of $60, but must be declared; - We provide a National Parks Pass for guest use, which allows free access to the nearby Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks. The pass covers access for one vehicle with unlimited occupants, saving our guests $19.60 or more per day if they choose to use it. A park pass is NOT required when using the Radium Hot Springs natural pools! - Steam sanitized bed sheets and towels after each stay, full sized name brand shampoo, conditioner and body washes in every bathroom, quality basic cooking ingredients, are just some of the ways we go above and beyond; - We are very thorough about our cleaning standards, and it takes two persons a minimum of 5 hours each to prepare for each group! From our research, this is more than 3 times more than other area rentals of the similar size! - You are welcome and encouraged to take the shampoos, body washes, slippers and Kicking Horse coffee with you at the end of your stay, as they are replaced with new ones for each new group of guests! - Watch the 2015 Netflix documentary "Jumbo Wild" to learn a little more about the Columbia Valley and one of it's many surreal natural attractions, the Jumbo Glacier. You can access the Jumbo Glacier from Radium Hot Springs with any off-road capable vehicle on the well maintained forestry road.
