Take a break and unwind at Middle Park. We are 2km north of Exeter in the heart of the Tamar Valley on a 2.5 acre block. You will have your own entrance, a comfortable bedroom & ensuite, private deck with BBQ and kitchenette with washing machine. Craig, Ruth and Stella the dog live in the other half of the house with our own entrance. Plenty of good walks, wineries and museums locally. Decks on both the East and West side of the house so great for sunrise and sunset! A great place to relax! The space This is our listing for a one bedroom option…please also see the 2 bed/2 bathroom option if you would like a bit more space or want to travel with friends or family! Our house is around 150 metres from the road, with country views all around. You will be able to park right next to the covered porch and front door. Inside there is a sunny bedroom with a double glazed sliding door which leads onto your own private deck area,. You have a newly built kitchenette where you can prepare light meals. Microwave, sandwich toaster, rice machine and all tools provided. We also have a portable induction plate with pan. This room also has a washing machine - and your own clothes rack outside which you are free to use! Please note, the kitchenette does not have an oven, but there is a BBQ on the front porch. The rooms are sunny and comfortable and have double glazing to keep you cosy! We have provided a bar table with 2 stools in a breakfast nook attached to the bedroom, and 2 easy chairs for relaxing. Apart from one small (6cm) step when you step down into the bedroom from the hallway, the unit is flat and easy to move around in. - we can provide a rubber ramp if you would like it. We have Barbara, Mr Boots and Twiggy who are our pet sheep who are always very excited to meet new people and an old dog who may also pop round to say hello! (She is kept in "our side" of the garden and would only visit you if you were happy for her too...) We have recently added an esky and some picnic equipment for good days out..let us know if there is anything else you would like to borrow. There are plenty of spare towels for those of you brave enough to swim in Tassie waters... The bedroom is well set up for Tassie winter, we have heating, electric blankets on the bed, and a winter warmth doona cover. Let us know if you would like a cooler doona instead! There is also a cosy comforter to keep you snug! We have a porta cot & bedding and baby bath if you need to borrow it..just let us know Guest access We are on 2.5 acres and have plenty of parking right next to the house for you. There is only limited public transport and the nearest bus stop is approximately 2 km away in Exeter, we would recommend that you had your own transport to fully enjoy your stay. We may be able to accommodate small caravans and boats - but please get in contact with us first. We live in the back half of the house, but we will be using a side gate and will not encroach on your area at all. Other things to note We do provide free satellite wifi, and have a booster box in your apartment. The speed is usually excellent, but will drop a bit if we are experiencing thunderstorms!
