The abundance of wood and two fireplaces add to the warm and inviting ambiance and are perfect after a long day of snow tubing or skiing. We do have WiFi, strong cell signal and two 65" SmartTV's for your enjoyment. We hope you fall in love with this beautiful area and treat our home as if it is your own. Enter using our smartlock into the TV room which has magnificent cathedral ceilings, a comfortable seating area with 65" smartTV and propane fireplace with beautiful stone chimney. A perfect area to snuggle up for a movie night. Kitchen and dining room provide seating for 12 with all amenities you will need to cook large family meals. The bedroom on the main level has a full size bed and access to the garage. The living room includes a queen size pull out couch, bar area and beautiful stone wood burning fireplace. Windows overlook the gorgeous mountain views. Start up the fire and settle in for a fun game-night (many games are provided inside the coffee table). Upstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The master bedroom is equipped with a desk area, king size bed and two twin beds for children. It also has blackout shades and separate access to the bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full over twin bunk beds. The finished basement has a newly renovated bathroom and additional living area with SmartTV. Hike or drive up to the Mount Utsayantha Fire tower for spectacular panoramic views of the area. Down the road is the historic Stamford Golf Club established in 1897. Across the street is access to a short trail which leads to a serene county reservoir- spend the day relaxing on the shore. There are many stores and restaurants on the main street in town, everything you could need is a 5 minute drive from the house. We are 35 minutes to both Hunter and Windham mountains, 40 minutes to Belleayre, 20 minutes to Minekill state park, 50 minutes to Cooperstown, 30 min to Oneonta. Close to wedding venues in Roxbury and surrounding areas. PLEASE NOTE: This is an older log cabin. We do all we can to keep small critters and bugs out but very rarely one may find its way inside.
