Butterfly Valley is a 160-acre property surrounded by thousands of acres of National Park while being just 2.8km off the main Queensland highway and close to Hinchinbrook Island. The space The Homestead is great for families or large groups. It is spacious, clean, and great for getting back in touch with family and nature. The large outdoor entertainment area has a huge table big enough for everyone to sit around and a ping pong table! Right next to the creek, it has a large grassed area where you can set up tents if you have more friends who want to join you and a campfire. There are just 6 other cabins, which we share with guests, on the property so lots of privacy. **Please note all of our cabins are a 2-night minimum stay. Guest access There is great hiking potential all over the 160 acres with awesome picture opportunities. Well-marked tracks lead to our private waterfall (15 minutes easy walk), natural spa pool, or large swimming hole (both 30 minutes easy walk). Explore to your heart's content! Other things to note We have split hardwood for sale for $15 per large bucket. We are dog friendly. We charge $10 per dog, per night. Please pay for your dog's accommodation fee during your stay. Dogs are not to be inside the cabins under any circumstances and they must be kept on a lead at all times. A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if it is found that your dog has been inside.
