Bright & Lovely Room in Santa Cruz

We offer a lovely room in our bright and warm home. We offer our Airbnb guests a bathroom that will be for the sole use of our guest. Guests have their own private deck accessible from the room. Guests are welcome in the living room with couches and many windows, skylight, vaulted ceilings. The home is shared with Vanessa, Chrissy and our calm, quiet, sweet 14 year old small dog, Quincy Papaya. Guests are welcome to spend time in our garden. The space We are 3 miles to the nearest beach, 3.5 miles from downtown Santa Cruz, 4 miles to the Boardwalk, 5.5 miles from UCSC. We have a loveseat tree swing/chair in the garden. Guest bathroom has marble floors. There is a view out of every window: peaceful natural hillside, eucalyptus trees, garden, etc. Beautiful sunsets can be viewed from the room and deck. For strong hikers, there is a steep short hike up the hill across the street with great views of the Monterey Bay. There is also a nice easy hiking area a mile from the house up the road. Guest access No kitchen use, but we allow guests to get filtered water and use the coffee maker. The bathroom is down the hall from the guestroom. There are no other guest rooms in this house. During your stay We will sometimes be available to socialize with guests and offer restaurant advice, local events and activities ideas, as well as outing and tourist info. If one of us is not at home when guests are needing information or help, we will be available by phone. Other things to note Guests must be able to climb a flight of stairs and walk up our driveway to enter home. We have a cat. Our home runs on wind power.
