As such it requires us to have myself or my tenant on the property during guest stays. Your host, Reid, is this downstairs tenant and he keeps to himself in a fully separated apartment that is insulated to keep your space quiet. Other than in the driveway you will not run into him. It’s actually a benefit to have him around since he can tend to any situation that might come up or give you a lift with his ride service. Don’t worry, his windows are only to the south into the driveway from the basement level, he is quiet and very respectful of the privacy you desire and expect. He does not use the garage during guest stays for additional peace and quiet. Guest access Please park in front of garage door closest to the stairs. Grab the key from the lockbox anytime after 4pm and head up the exterior stairs to your main entry. There is a hiking trail that begins by the deck and goes all the way down to North Boulder Creek. It is a beautiful shady path through the forest and is completely private. The laundry room on the basement level has a washer/dryer and detergent is provided. Please note that this listing cannot allow any emotional support or service animals per an exception to AirBnB’s policy regarding such animals. Other things to note Your host, Reid, now parks outside in response to guest feedback. We have cameras focused only on the driveway to monitor access. The fireplace, French Doors, and hot tub have specific operating instructions listed in our handbook/house rules. Please familiarize yourself to help us keep everything in working order. WiFi is solid via broadband tower. ATT is the only cell reception - guests can use wifi calling for other carriers or a stronger signal. A 4wd/AWD vehicle is highly encouraged if there is snow in the forecast. Note that blinds by jetted tub in the master bath are electric-remote on wall nearby. The hot tub water is maintained regularly and all the jets are in working order! Excess trash and recycling can be placed in the large brown steel jobsite box under the deck by the garage. Recycling on the left and trash on the right. Please - no bags in recycling! This is a mountain home at 8,000 feet in elevation and consequently no air conditioning. Closing the blinds on the south-facing windows will help keep things cooled and opening screened windows allows the fresh mountain breeze in without the bugs. Moose, elk, deer, fox and insects are common in the area. We also have bear in the area so don't leave any food in your car as they will get in even if you have it locked!
