The Beach Bach is a fully self contained unit with all day sun. At the back of a private yard there is a deck to enjoy the sun and catch some views. Only 100 meters to the beach, fall asleep to the sounds of the sea. 20 Mins to Christchurch, 30 minutes to the Airport and 35mins to Christchurch CBD. ""June 2025. "" The space The Beach Bach cottage is 100 meter walk to the beach in the small community of Waikuku 20 minutes from Christchurch and 35 minutes from Christchurch CBD. The cottage has one bedroom with a king bed, lounge / dining / kitchen which are open plan and a separate bathroom. Excellent car parking. Wifi, tea and coffee are included. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea, walk to the beach, enjoy an outdoor shower, go for a bike ride, play a game of tennis, walk or jog along the beach, river or through the forest. This cottage has everything you need, beach, sun, local art, bird wildlife, 20 minutes from wineries and 20 minutes to Christchurch and 35 minutes to the CBD. Heating (or cooling) is provided by a heat pump. There is also a ceiling fan. In Winter the bathroom has a heated floor. Heated towel rails. Fully insulated and double glazed. There will be a few essentials for you such as milk, soap, shampoo, cooking oil, flour, herbs, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, mustard and the usual teas and coffees. There is a TV, DVD and DVD library for you. A bluetooth speaker to connect to for music. There are books, magazines and board games for your enjoyment too. Netflix and internet TV is provided. The outdoor shower and bath is also for your use! Enjoy a bath under the stars! In season the fruit trees available for you to use. They produce lemons, apricots, nectarines and grapes. Occasionally there are vegetables in the garden too. There is also a selection of garden herbs. There are mountain bikes, stand up paddle boards, beach body boards, tennis rackets, pétanque and a frisbee for your use during your stay. The hot tub / bath is outside. There is plenty of storage for your luggage and personal items. Guest access Access is via either the front of the property or the rear. There is plenty of space for parking a vehicle. Please note there are steps from the yard to the elevated Bach. You can see these on the photo. Other things to note This wonderful small community that gives you the opportunity to experience quintessential New Zealand beach side living. Mountain bikes and Tennis Rackets are provided for you. There is also a book and DVD collection. The Brick Mill gallery is 5 minutes away. 35 minutes to the Christchurch city centre by car. 20 minutes to great wineries. 1.5 hours to the Ski Fields and 1.5 hours to Hanmer Springs Hot Pools Great swimming and surfing at the beach Park Run. If you are a Park Run runner, the Pegasus Park Run is 5 minutes away. I have two beautiful cats that may visit you during your stay.
