Chic retreat, hot tub & pool nr Glasto &millfield

The Hideaway is a barn style coach house with separate entrance (attached to the main house). Located 3miles from Glastonbury & 10mins from Millfield School/Clarkes Village. Private use of hot tub all year round pool 1May-1September loungers , fire pit, large garden and a paddock with a view of Glastonbury Tor. Perfect for couples & families fantastic walks & cycling in the area. Our local farm has a cute cafe and sells essential milk eggs and has a pop up pub most Friday nights The space Beautiful Scandinavian inspired interior with pared back neutral colours and fabrics. Brand new swishy sofa with origional retro furniture pieces in the living room One large loft style bedroom with a folding screen to section off areas (some areas are height restricted). There is a clear view to Glastonbury Tor from the top of our garden This space houses a super comfy king size bed with memory foam mattress, a double bed (and a single fold out bed avail on request)3 beds in total Bathroom with a powerful walk in shower, basin, drawer units, toiletries & towels provided. This room overlooks the stunning open plan living space with a vaulted ceiling and cathedral window looking towards the extensive lawn and hot tub A brand new comfy sofa and rocking chair armchair to relax in and watch your fave tv shows with our Amazon Firestick using your own personal login A modern white equipped kitchen (with pans and utensils), with oven, hob, washing machine, fridge and an original 60's dining table and 4 chairs. Direct access to the patio via bifold doors takes you out to your own patio area with outside seating , fire pit and sole use of the tempting Hot Tub, complete with spa towels for the hot tub our pool is open 1 may - September ( weather permitting ) We do not have a lifeguard present, so we need prior notice from you as to when you would like to use the Pool please note Pool regulations and rules Our pool is not heated and shared with our family Please note that the garden is not private and is shared with our family but exceeds 1 acre. You might see us from time to time for a chat or maybe a glass of wine. The Hideaway has vodaphone WIFI and and HD TV with an Amazon Firestick so you can access your favoured viewing platform or work remotely. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, oven, washing machine, plenty of cutlery, glassware, crockery and with cooking equipment. The Hot Tub is open all year round and its use is solely for The Hideaway guests. The hot tub temp set between 36-38 degrees depending on the season please read the house rules and waiver re the Hot Tub use. ( hot tub is adult only no children under 14) We have tried to include everything you need for an enjoyable stay! Ocado and Tesco can deliver shopping to your door at this postcode. Some takeaways also deliver. You will be staying within the boundary of our garden. We are a family of three with one small dog We welcome couples and families but please no hen or stag parties or any groups who would like to party. Our Hideaway is ideal for couples or small families. We will often greet you when you arrive to make you feel welcome and help you with settling in. Please note this is a NO smoking accommodation including the garden. We do not have ev charging on the property however there are charging points nearby Guest access Parking is free and up to two cars can be accommodated on the drive, street parking also available. The closest public EV charging stations to Butleigh, Somerset, include options in Glastonbury, Street, and Somerton. You can find these locations using online resources like Zap-Map or ChargeFinder, which allow you to search for charging points by location and filter by network, connector type, and speed. No charging is available at the property Other things to note Situated in a small village close to Millfield School and just over 3 miles from Glastonbury - probably one of the quirkiest towns in the UK, steeped in history, myth and the smell of incense, home to the famous music & arts festival. Glastonbury Abbey - its ruins a grade 1 listed building often hosts events within its grounds and is of course the alleged resting place of the legendary King Arthur. Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are within easy reach by car (approx 30 mins) Also just over 3 miles from Clarks Village outlet shopping village located in Street. A rural beautiful historic village our closest convenience store is on the next village of Baltonsborough We have a small Local shop and cafe at sourdown farm on sub road which sells essentials We are happy to help with recommendations and booking local eateries and arranging any special items for birthdays or any other special occasions from local traders ( subject to individual pricing) to include balloons,hampers, breakfasts and many more on request. We are situated within the village which is a residential area. There are some amazing walks with well marked footpaths to Butleigh Woods & the Somerset levels. Excellent local pubs and restaurants. We provide plenty of information at The Hideaway on local eateries, places of interest and activities but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require any information prior to your stay with us. The village is about a 30 minute drive from the arty towns of Frome, Mells and Bruton. 20 minutes from Castle Cary Station with connections to Bath, Bristol, Reading & London Paddington Use of Hot Tub: No children under 16 are permitted in hot tub. The hot tub foldback cover must remain on metal bar at all times to prevent damage. Hot tub not to be left open while not in use. Temperature is set - please do not alter it. Hot tub hours are from 8am-11pm. We want you to have a great stay @The Hideaway we kindly ask that read the rules below No stag or hen parties or groups No smoking inside or outside the Airbnb. No parties or events or loud music The maximum property capacity is 4 people No ev charging from our property as this is a a fire risk No pets allowed. No extra guests Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door please. Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will have to be reported to Airbnb. No Candles or fires Please do not sit on the sofa with wet clothes No Electrics around the hot tub No children under 16 permitted to use the hot tub Please rinse out swimwear and shower before use as washing detergent causes damage to The hot tub If a Refill is required during your stay due to detergents fake tan or any discolouration due to clothes Due a fee of £50 pounds is payable to refill and re heat Hot tub hours 8am-11 pm and please do not use it when intoxicated. Please do not sit on the edge of the hot tub No clothes Work in the hot tub Replace the thermal cover after use Please do not remove the house condiments Juice ,toiletries electrical ,towels or any of the items supplied for you to enjoy during your stay. Hot Tub safety rules are inside The Hideaway together with the waiver Pool Rule 1 The pool is unsupervised; there is no lifeguard. It is the guests responsibility to ensure that those who use the pool can swim adequately and do so at their own risk and are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol No access the pool if you have any open wounds or have had diarrhoea in the last 48 Pool Rule 2 No parties are allowed of any kind Pool Rule 3 The pool is located in our own private garden – please respect the space Pool Rule 4 No running jumping ball games or diving Pool Rule 5 Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times Pool Rule 6 No glass is permitted in the pool area Pool Rule 7 All children who are not potty trained must wear a swim nappy at all times Pool Rule 8 No running around the pool area as it can be slippery when wet Pool Rule 9 At least one adult should have access to a mobile phone at all times to call emergency services if required Pool Rule 10 No smoking anywhere on the premises Pool Rule 11 All rubbish must be taken away Everyone must shower before entering the water and use is only to the named members of your group No food or drink to be taken into the pool area Children of any age must NEVER be left alone at the poolside Pool hours 10 am- 5pm Hot Tub Liability Waiver: You understand that use of the Hot Tub and area is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with the use of the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use and hold the owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming may present to children over 16 who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person if a person has health risks or is a non swimmer. You understand the risks if a person uses the hot tub while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from use of the hot tub. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that use of the hot tub and pool constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.
