Castle in Markt Nordheim

Very spacious apartment of about 260 m2 (2700 square feet) in a baroque manor with two living rooms and four bedrooms. The landlord lives in the same building on another floor. Entrance must be shared with landlord and a cat. Cats might have entered a bedroom before at some point, so beware people allergic to cats! (no cats in the house momentarily) The space Such a spacious apartment is not too common generally. A nice restaurant can be reached by foot as well as an excellent winemaker for wine tastings or purchase. The guests have the whole floor for themselves but must share the entrance doors and the corridor with the host. The whole apartment floor can be used as well as the garden (shared with the host). Parking available. There are just a few neighbours, many of them have horses, some sheep. There is almost no public transportation availabe. Guests can be picked up after notice at the next train station. Own car is recommended. However, there is a smart phone app calles "NEA Mobil" that brings you from Uffenheim train station to our place at very low cost when connected with a train ticket. It can be ordered just 24 hours in advance. No rides later than 6 p.m. (Saturday 24 p.m., Sunday/holidays no service) There is one cat in the house that shares its entrance with the guests as well. The cat does get access to the guest (living-) rooms once in a while but only when there are no guests. This means that people allergic to cats should consider not to book here if it really causes problems. The cats also use the guest bathroom as an exit and entrance with their cat door. The concert grand by Erard in the Drawing room may be used. The other keyboard instruments only after instruction. Guest access Parking in front of the Schützenhaus and the chapel (Bell tower) on the West side of the building. Other things to note Attention: The cat comes through the guest floor, too. Allergic people might want to refrain from a stay. (no cats right now) In the drawing room there is a nice concert grand piano by the French builder Erard built in 1898 which may be used by the guests. The house has modern cetral heating, however, the corridors cannot be heated and warm clothes for the corridors should be taken with you on your trip.
