Description
The house dates from 1570 and is the former Dairy Farm for the Ickworth Estate. Guests can easily walk into the Park from the house. The house is 200 metres off the road, down a drive. It is situated less than three miles from the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Although we don't provide a cooked breakfast, a toaster, with bread, butter and home-made marmalade is provided as well as tea, coffee, milk and fruit juice. A microwave oven and an air fryer are also available. The space There are two bedrooms available. The en-suite room on the first floor has a double bed, so is ideal for couples or single people. A second bedroom on the top floor has twin beds, which is ideal for children or other family members. Those using this second room have separate access to the bathroom, which can be locked from the inside. Sorry, no dogs are allowed! Guest access In addition to the two bedrooms, guests will have access to a living room, which has a sofa, TV, dining table and chairs. This room contains the microwave, air fryer, toaster, kettle and fridge, as well as all the crockery and cutlery guests are likely to need. During your stay Maps of Ickworth Park and Bury St Edmunds are available. The owners will be present and can provide assistance as required.
