Homely stay in central Castlemaine

Our home is centrally located in between all the amazing things Castlemaine has to offer. Shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, trainstation, Kalimna forest and the Mills complex all are at walking distance. The space Our home is put together from vintage and second hand finds. It's cosy and personal. You can feel comfortable and at home. Guest access You'll have access to either one or two bedrooms (depending on your booking), both bathrooms, a cosy living room with wood fire in the middle of the house (we call it the 'Whiskey Room'), an open living/dining/kitchen with lots of light, facing the garden (our' Garden Room') and our backyard. The main bedroom has a comfortable bed made from wooden pallets and a good quality mattress. It's adjacent to the Whiskey Room. The smaller bedroom (normally our guestroom) has an equally comfortable sofa bed and is adjacent to the kitching/dining/living area. There is a third sofa bed in the Whiskey Room, which offers less privacy but gives some extra sleeping space if needed. You're welcome to use our kitchen, which should have everything you need to cook a nice meal (tell us if it's missing something!), please feel free to use staples also - within reason of course. On the outside deck we have a big gas bbq which you're welcome to use (please clean it after use). There are two bathrooms in the house, one is bigger and also has a jacuzzi bath, the other is quite small with a toilet and a shower, both of them you are welcome to use. There are two rooms in the house that we ask you not to enter (the first two rooms when you come through the front door). One of them is our home office space, if you need such a space for your stay, please let us know so we can get it ready and clean for you. If you haven't discussed using it, please don't use it. Other things to note Your furbabies are welcome, and our backyard is fenced but some bigger dogs have been able to open the gate - so please check if it's safe enough for your doggo, or close the big gates at the front of the driveway. It would be great if you could prevent them trampling on our garden beds, as we love our plants. Please clean up after your pet. We take great pride in our home, which has lots of plants, art, trinkets from local artists, (op)shops and markets. This is our home, and we love the house and everything that's in it, so please treat it with respect.
