Wallaby Lodge

Wallaby Lodge is the perfect escape & one of the best kept secrets in Ocean View. As you wind your way up Mt Mee, you will pop out at the top to see stunning views of the Glass House Mountains & Moreton Bay. Wallaby lodge is tucked away for privacy and tranquility. With your own fire place to curl up in-front of or soak away the world with your own outdoor hot tub over looking natures best. With abundant birds, kangaroo's and of course wallabies. This is one place you can definitely relax! The space Hamptons style influenced decor, will help you feel invited, comfortable and spoiled. Once arrived you won’t want to leave. The cottage is located apx 50mtrs from the main house with its own entrance. A lot of attention has gone into making the cottage as private as possible for guest with privacy screens and curtains installed. We like to welcome guest & leave them to their private relaxing stay. However, if you’re looking for complete isolation this my not suit you. There’s no fencing for fur babies as we like to leave it as unobstructed as possible to enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. Guest access Private access to lodge from road. Carpark on grounds, short walk to lodge. Access to grounds around lodge and beyond is allowed. 4 acres is available for guest & fur babies to explore. Seasonal creeks runs down back of property. Guest are not to access main house or enter through gates/ fence due to Mareema sheep dog on duty. Other things to note Due to several bodies of unfenced water, drop off on deck & unscreened fire place we are unable to host children. Safety is a high priority, therefore Wallaby Lodge is only able to accommodate adults, which makes it’s the perfect couples getaway. We are on the mountain/bush, all guest need to be aware of snake sightings. There are many tall trees down the back of the property, if exploring please remember to look up as these big trees drop big branches. Being 500 meters above sea level, it can get cold, please remember to pack warm clothes.
