Welcome to Trailhead XL at Crested Butte (TH@CB)! This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath custom home nestled in an aspen grove offers spectacular views of Mt. Crested Butte and the Elk Range. Just 8 minutes to both the ski area and the historic district in Crested Butte, the best part of the home is the multiple trailheads right out the door. With a fully equipped kitchen, open concept, hot tub, Peloton, and mountain modern amenities, this special home is your base camp for your next Colorado adventure. The space For indoor pursuits, the gourmet kitchen awaits your culinary creations and the island and dining table have plenty of seating for everyone to gather and admire the panoramic views. Watch the fiery alpenglow on the surrounding peaks as you grill on the deck, linger on the flagstone patio directly off the kitchen, and soak in the hot tub (patio furniture is only available during the snow free months). Relax at the end of the day with the remote controlled gas fireplace and 4K smart TV with Chromecast/Netflix/YoutubeTV. The home has solid wifi (25 up/25 down) throughout if you need to stay connected, but we hope you find time to unplug! When it’s time to sleep, the spacious upstairs master suite features a king bed and private spa retreat with a jacuzzi tub and walk-in steam shower. Also upstairs is a queen bedroom sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom with another large bedroom featuring two double beds. Downstairs you’ll find a second queen bedroom with en suite bath and workspace. The last bedroom has a double bed. As a bonus, the lower area has a full kitchen, Peloton bike, and lounge area of its own. We look forward to sharing TH@CB and this special place in Colorado with you! Guest access In the winter, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended. There is no public transportation to TH@CB. The neighborhood roads are all paved and plowed by Gunnison County, but our location means we often get more snow than the ski area and town. Be prepared! Parking is available in our driveway along with one garage space for up to 4 total vehicles. No trailers, RVs, campers, or tents are allowed. There is free parking in the town of Crested Butte and free/paid parking at the ski resort. Map apps don't know that you can turn left from Washington Gulch Road onto Gothic Road, so they send you right (into town) to turn around. You ARE able to turn left making the ski resort only an 8 minute trip from the house. The free parking at the ski area is limited in the winter, but the pay lot is not too expensive. The walk to the lifts from the parking lots is short. You can also drive in to town and park in the free lot and take the free shuttle up to the resort.
