Situated in the midst of both bush and ocean, Belle Glamping is the perfect nature getaway. Access to a tropical pool provides a perfect excuse for relaxing in the sun or a starlight spa. Wake up to the melodies of the songbirds. By the Tauranga harbour, the ocean is tame and perfect for kayaking and there are lovely beach/bush walks around the location with stunning sunset views. This is a family property so there might be grandchildren at the pool. We have 2 Golden retrievers onsite. The space The native forest walkway opens up to a circle of sand with an outlying frame of stones. Occupying this space is a white canvas belle tent. From the site is a view of ocean, and the small sandy beach which follows the shore. Indoors is a blend of pristine white, and a soft bamboo look. Centrally lies your queen size bed, surrounding it are drawers, and tables for your convenience. Off centred is a beautiful woven chair, that a sunset looks through the entryway at just the right angle to see the island cliffs burn orange. Swim and bathe. A tropically influence runs strongly within the design of this exquisite pool. This stone lined infinity pool, surrounded by the jungle of palms, pineapples and other tropical plants is heated to just the right temperatures for relaxation or cooling off on a hot day. The spa is at its most magnificent after the sun starts to set as sky begins to sparkle with stars. Guest access The pool complex will trick you into thinking you’re at tropical resort. It is a short (50m) walk from the tent to the pool area. You will have shared access during your stay, however we ask that you please be respectful regarding noise after dark. To ensure maximum privacy for both the guests and hosts, and to make it easier to plan, we ask that between the hours 6-7pm you allow the host to have some time to ourself to use the pool. Outside this period please feel free to make the most of this spectacular amenity. The Glamping site is situated on a private family property. The shower, toilet and pool amenities are in a shared space, however the shower and toilet is used by Glamping guests only. You may also see or hear us, or family members around the property however we will never come into your private Glamping area without permission. Other things to note We have two lovely golden retrievers who do have free roam of the whole property. They are beautiful Golden Retrievers called Chia and Poppy. They are super friendly and will probably come down to greet you. They will likely bark before they know you. They are very safe, however this being their home if you are uncomfortable around dogs this might not be the right choice for you.
