The house is a 9 min. bike ride to the Vienna Metro and a 5 min. drive to I-66/495, yet is surrounded on all sides by trees and flowers. It is on a dead-end street in an isolated cul-de-sac. It has a sunny open layout, all one floor with large windows throughout. It is entirely solar powered, and includes some bikes if you want to borrow them to see the city outside of your car. The space This is a mid-century one-of-a-kind home (with lots of dashes). It is all on one level with an open layout and should be easy to navigate for young and old. It has a full kitchen that you are welcome to use. There is a Tiny House in the driveway, currently occupied, and a wood cabin in the back that is unfinished (and not available). It has a functional wood stove with a fan that can heat the entire house if paired with the blower on the central HVAC system. Guest access You will be able to access the entire house, please be considerate and replace any consumables you use. Please note that there is no dryer, only a washer and drying lines in the back. You are also welcome to borrow the bikes that are hanging in the house and entrance; please wear a helmet and care for them as if they were your own. Other things to note Interstate 66 is directly next to the House, and you will be able to hear the road noise from the highway while you are outside. There is a full kitchen, along with the necessary pots, pans, spices and utensils to do any cooking. If you do use some of the food, please replace them. The washing machine is located in the kitchen. There is no dryer, please feel free to use the drying lines in the back yard. The trash and recyclables are in the kitchen and labeled by type. The driveway can fit two cars, and there is ample street parking. Clean linens and towels will be included in the rental.
