Description

#5 Turtle Trail ~ Mikey’s Mission offers plenty of room for tent camping, mini campers & moto camping. It comes with a fire pit and a picnic table. There are level spots for tents. It is 0.2 miles from the campground entrance, and a short walk to the portable restroom. The campsite is located directly across from Chipmunk Corner ~ Alvins’ place. The space The property is 97 acres called Peaceful Hills, which is the perfect place for friends and family to get outdoors, breathe in the fresh air, have a bonfire, do some creek walking, go on a hike, and simply rest and relax in God's amazingly beautiful creation. Guest access To get here, you will only be 20 minutes off I-40 interstate, but you will feel like you are in a very remote area surrounded by trees and wildlife. The neighborhood is very quiet. If you use my directions taking Chessor Cemetery Road to get here, you will avoid the other two routes in and have only 0.3 miles of dirt road. The other two routes follow the creek and is dirt road in both directions. The road through the campground is rough in spots so please drive slowly past the campsites. There is an underground spring in one spot, so there is water in the road as well. It does not require 4 wheel drive, but your tires may get muddy. It is an adventuresome campground so get your bags backed and get ready to have some fun!
