Situated within Northney Marina this private room in our apartment is the perfect accommodation for all water lovers as we have direct access to the water for kayaking and paddleboarding (own equipment only). With a great cafe on site and scenic walks from our door, we are perfectly situated for a lovely break away. Many attractions nearby include the beautiful beaches of Hayling Island, picturesque fishing village of Emsworth, Goodwood Estate, historical Portsmouth and Southsea seafront. No TV. Access through shared main entrance to apartment, with no use of kitchen facilities. Guest access Private room with ensuite shower room only. Entrance through hosts apartment. Other things to note Great cafe on site (20 seconds walk) for breakfasts and lunches with fab views of the marina. This is a working marina so sometimes noise can be heard during the day from the boat yard. But on the whole this is a peaceful place to be. The marina is locked overnight with no vehicle or pedestrian access so very secure. (you will have an access card) Water access for paddleboarding or kayaking around the harbour can be arranged. Own equipment must be provided. A sunset paddle towards the Hayling bridge is stunning! (tides and conditions to be considered). Great for nature and water lovers. Nearest pub is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk over the bridge. Great pub grub with waterside views. Other great options available for evening dining on the island within 10 minutes drive. Optional extra - enjoy an exclusive sailing experience with a local sailor onboard a luxury 32ft sailing boat. Learn the basics of sailing or just sit back and take in the beauty of Chichester Harbour and watch the seals basking in the sun! Approx 2 hour trip direct from Northney Marina, £140 for 2 people.
