We are four blocks from the University of Portland, with easy access to downtown. Our guests appreciate how well-designed, quiet, and comfortable the standalone guesthouse is. With a high ceiling and a large skylight, the main room is flooded with natural light. The space Our fully detached, architect-designed guesthouse was built in 2017 and updated in 2021 with everything you need for a comfortable, restful stay. Natural wood walls frame high, sky-lit ceilings. A private garden patio welcomes you in summer, and heated concrete floors keep you cozy in winter. The guesthouse is tucked away in our back yard (we live in the main house). Check-in is by a lockbox with a code we send two days beforehand. We're available by phone if needed, but you will be free to arrive after 3:00 and leave before 11:00 on your own schedule. Street parking is free, and spaces are easy to find. We are happy to consider longer stays, but for bookings longer than a week we will only consider guests with at least three reviews and a 4.8 star average rating from AirBNB hosts, and verified identity.
