Included: professional cleaning, linens/towels, self-check-in, guest support. Sleeps 8. There are 3 double bedrooms in the main house (2x Double, 1x Small Double), in addition to 2 single bunk beds in the cabin at the end of the garden (max weight on top bunk is 65kg). There is also a sofa bed in the living room in case all guests would prefer to stay in the main house! Downstairs: The downstairs hallway provides access to the left to the utility room which contains a washing and drying machine, electric powered clothes drying rack, additional clothes airer, iron and ironing board, various wet suits/jackets, and additional storage space for your excess gear. Also to the left is the main bathroom which has a brand new modern accessible walk-in shower. To the right the hallway gives way to the open-plan double living and dining area which contains TV, two sofas (one converts to a sofa bed), and oversized dining table with bench seating. This room is filled with décor chosen to show off the local area and also the property's original character. The kitchen is neatly accessed off the dining room and is well equipped for cooking and home dining. Appliances include double oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (requires beans), kettle and toaster. The area has a breakfast bar and bi-fold doors to the BBQ area that lets the afternoon and evening sunlight stream in. Upstairs: The master bedroom is partnered with an ensuite bathroom with over-bath shower, and comprises double bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, night tables and bedside lamps. The master bedroom also opens to a garden-facing roof terrace with bistro table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or the sunset. The second bedroom also contains a double bed, a chest of drawers, night stands and bedside lamp. The third bedroom has a small double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, night table and bedside lamp. A travel cot and highchair are available for the little ones. Outside you will find a large sunny west-facing rear garden complete with: Gas BBQ on the house-adjacent deck area and an additional patio area at the bottom of the garden, both with an abundance of furnishings, perfect for relaxing and/or dining after a day at the beach. The cabin ("Den") at the bottom of the garden has bunk beds (65kg weight limit on top bunk), and plenty of indoor/outdoor toys and games. Also at the bottom of the garden is an outdoor play area with swing, slide, climbing frame, ++. The multi-purpose garden room has a desk to cater for working from home, and gym equipment. Other features: Strong Wi-Fi is available throughout entire property. Driveway parking for one car and free parking on the road. The beach hut offers convenient access to all the facilities you need for a memorable beach day, just 0.3km away, about a 5 minute walk! This home is the perfect place for a weekend getaway or longer staycation. Moments from the town, the beach and the beautiful views of the sea and stunning sunsets. Also within walking distance of numerous costal trails and historic and interesting towns up and down the coast and inland. You will find comfort, relaxation and fun for the whole family. Guest access The entire home and beach hut is for the private use of our guests. There is space for one car on the private driveway and free street parking for additional vehicles. Other things to note Gym equipment comprises a rowing machine, cycling machine, and various weights, blocks, mats, foam roller, etc. This property comes with access to a beach hut on Herne Bay beach, just a 5 minute walk from the home. There is a DeLonghi coffee machine which requires coffee beans. Children must be supervised at all times in the gym/office and garden play area. We do not allow pets other than with prior arrangement, which would be subject to these additional rules. Please get in touch to discuss. - Cleaning fee of £30 required. - No pets on furniture or upstairs. - All pet excrement to be immediately disposed of in the proper manner. - Pets must not be left unattended for long periods or overnight. - We do not accept dogs that are prone to barking as they disturb the neighbours. - Evidence of not adhering to these rules may incur an additional cleaning charge and/or you may be evicted, regardless of your check out date, depending on the severity of the infringement.
