Love our Laurel Highlands Trails & history from our easy access location across from The Path of the Flood Trailhead, 10 Minutes from the Murtha Airport & 20 min to Conemaugh Hospital a Lvl 1 Trauma Center. Our little space has everything you need to make your stay efficient including off street parking & W/D. Five National Historical sites/ memorials are nearby, along with miles of trails and rivers to meet your outdoors adventure needs. The space This is a former service station .25 miles from the on/off ramp of Rt. 219. It is a private space on the 1st floor of a 2 story block building. Being built in the 1930s it is not ADA accessible. There is a full size bed with dressers available. The kitchenette is supplied with basics like dishes, utensils, and simple cookware (there is no stove - a 2 burner hotplate, toaster oven and microwave are available). Guest access Off-street parking available to the side of the building and the entrance to the apt is in the rear - you can pull up to unload your vehicle, but the space is shared w/ a private property. There's a lockbox by door and it is lit for late arrivals. Smiley's Pub is 1 mile away in St. Michael (closed Sundays) and Morris' Tavern is less than 5 miles away in Sidman (closed Mondays) both have great pizza Smileys thicker crust and Morris' thin crust. Fox's Pizza Den in Sidman will deliver. Depending on your day's adventure there are many local eateries worth checking out: Old Keg in Portage, Rita's in Summerhill, and others I'll share with check in information. Sidman has some basic amenities like gas, hardware store and Dollar General and Richland (219S < 10 min) has WalMart etc. South Fork offers a gas station and Valko's Grocery with a butcher shop. Other things to note There is a doorway separating the two first floor apartments. It's locked on both sides unless both apartments are rented by the same group.
