Walk to everything! This spacious, fully renovated 1920's charmer is just 15 minutes from both downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Located in the heart of downtown Weaverville, you'll be a short walk from awesome coffee shops, breweries and restaurants - loads of small town charm (but with great beer and sushi). The space Weaverville is a true hidden gem - tucked away just a few miles north of downtown Asheville, it’s a charming, walkable town. Two breweries, the “Best Bakery in WNC,” excellent coffee and a Bob Ross-themed bar (for real! It’s called Hoppy Trees!)… Honestly, you may not want to leave. We’re just 15 minutes from hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway (and we’ll also let you know about a few lesser known, less trafficked trails and rivers nearby). You’re a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Asheville, and just half an hour from Hot Springs, where you can bring along a bottle of wine and relax in the mineral springs after a long day in the mountains. The home - built in 1929 - is very unique, with a T-shaped layout which allows for quite a bit of privacy between the three spacious bedrooms (one king, one queen and two twins, with an additional foldout sofa in the twin bedroom). The kitchen is comfortable and has everything you might need (food is a priority for us!), and the dining room is “all windows,” with a table that seats eight and a fun, wall-mounted Scrabble board (fun is also a priority for us!). Enjoy brand new high-quality mattresses and bedding. The entire house has hardwood floors (most of them original to the home) and beautiful touches that speak to the place’s history. The lot is nearly an acre, with plenty of room for kids to play. The fenced front yard (great for keeping curious toddlers contained in the yard) has a deck under the trees with an outdoor dining table and overhead twinkling lights. This was our family home for many years, and we know that you’ll fall in love with the house the same way that we did. It’s cozy and funky, and we’re thrilled to be able to share it with you. Guest access The entire house is yours! Four vehicles can easily park in the driveway, and you'll have access to a huge back and side yard (kids LOVE to play in the bamboo forest!). Restaurants, coffee, breweries and shops are just a short walk away. This is a residential neighborhood, and parties are prohibited. Other things to note **IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ! Our home is not “out in the middle of nowhere.” You’re in downtown Weaverville, and the home is bordered on the back side by commercial property (a hotel and drive-through restaurant). The deck out front provides a great outdoor space with no view of the commercial property, but please be aware that you have these neighbors in the backyard.
