It is the perfect retreat for up to 12 guests and is well suited to cater for families seeking a relaxing holiday in the country with plenty or as little to do in the region of Waipukurau, Hawke’s Bay. This 6 bedroom with ensuites, 3 level property is situated on 35 acres of park like grounds. The space Mt Vernon Villa is classically designed along a North/South axis with all the rooms being of generous proportions. The main floor has the grand Sitting Room with doors leading onto a long verandah. A grand piano sits waiting for those who play. The Study with over 2000 books (many dating back to the 1800s) is a nice intimate room and ideal space for reading. The Dining Room connects through to the kitchen and sitting room as well as opening onto the long eastern verandah. The Day Lounge opens to the courtyard and can be used for catching up on your latest Netflix show or game nights. The grand Courtyard is a perfect area for summer days, BBQ or evening outdoor dining. The well equipped Kitchen opens onto the courtyard and long verandah, making entertaining easy and sociable. The tranquil Upstairs Lounge faces West with plenty of sunlight, is a perfect space for afternoon zen time. The six bedrooms are all of generous size, five with ensuite bathrooms and two additional bathrooms ensure our guests the optimal comfort. All the rooms are stylishly furnished and each has a wonderful outlook. The beds vary from queen to king size beds with high thread count sheets. There are built in USB and power points on both sides of each bed. All bathroom ensuites have full sets of cotton towels and organic amenities, including a hairdryer for each room. Guest access The entire property, including the vegetable garden and orchard, are available for guests to enjoy. The 35 acres of parklike grounds are free to roam and take in.
