The space This simple, elegant home was built 165 years ago and is still going strong! It has creaks and cracks and imperfections and stories galore. It was declared a local landmark in 2012 based on its vernacular architectural style and is in a national register historic district. There is full grassy backyard, front porch, and small back deck. The main level has the living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen. The dining table seats 8-10. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and the bathroom. Laundry is in the basement. Lake and capitol dome views from nearly every room. Light streams through the wavy glass windows all day long. Please note that the dishwasher is a portable model and requires some finagling, and the air conditioning is from window units. There is a basement apartment with one quiet tenant and an exterior entrance. Laundry is shared. Guest access There is one off-street parking spot right next to the house. 2 hour street parking is enforced, except on weekends. There are parking ramps about 4 blocks away.
