Tigh na Tunnag

This recently renovated self-catering flat used to be the Doctor's surgery and is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Mallaig. It has magnificent views towards the small isles of Eigg and Rum and overlooks the railway line where the steam train runs in the summer. The space The annex has one main room and a separate bathroom. The main room has two single beds with electric blankets which can be joined together making either a double bed or two three-foot singles, a living area with comfortable chairs, TV and internet connection and a kitchen area with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave oven. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washing machine, clothes drying facilities and a hair dryer. A glass door opens onto a south facing private verandah with table and chairs. The garden is shared with the main house. Heating is electric and there is also a wood-burner in the main room with an initial supply of wood with further supplies available for purchase.
