Description

This Bunky is a separate mini-house on our farm with a view of the fields, pasture, & duck pond. Enjoy the 1 km tour of the sculpture park, the 5 km of trails, or the shared pool and year round hot tub. The Bunhkouse has a separate bedroom, bathroom, and open concept living room/kitchen. It sleeps two comfortably and can fit 2 extra guests on the pullout living room sectional . There’s free Wi-Fi and Smart TV. Check out our other, more posh private space at Carriage House @ Stone Gate Farm! The space This simple country bunkhouse Is a self-contained private building on our farm. It has a ductless mini-split unit for A/C in the summer and heat in the winter. It’s simple, country living. Winter stays provide slippers to borrow as the floors can be chilly on really cold days. There are extra space heaters to use in the bedroom and bathroom spaces. This space is for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, as the beauty of the farm is truly what is outdoors. Behind the main farmhouse is a shared pool (seasonal), year round hot tub, swing that goes over the ravine, duck pond and trails. The newly established sculpture park takes you along the field edge as you experience metal sculpture installations along the ravine edge on your way toward the trails. Your bunkhouse space used to be a horse paddock-it is very simple and can sleep up to 4 people if you fold out the futon couch in the living room. If you are wanting simple ‘cabin’-style accommodations this is perfect. If not, consider our other, more posh stay at our Carriage House Loft suite @ https://abnb.me/vmYtNJzWHlb Guest access The 73 acres are yours to discover and enjoy year round. It would be a shame to visit and not enjoy all the nature this farm has to offer. Ask about meals or special packages for your stay. There is one pizza delivery service and a nearby Mexican store with amazing breakfast burritos and Mexican food, but Uber eats doesn’t exist out here! There is a small mercantile of goods for sale, with frozen foods, snacks, ice, and cold drinks. Other things to note We are in a secluded area but are just minutes to nearby towns and other amenities. We have Rogers cell tower nearby but guests with Fido, Koodo or Telus may have limited connectivity to data. We offer free access to our Starlink Wifi while staying with us. Upon booking you will find notes about things to do while here on your stay and there is a small mercantile of home made items for you to purchase. We also have a freezer of homemade and store bought foods that change from time to time but typically include: -homemade breakfast foods -muffins, cinnamon buns -eggs -ice We have amazing trails and a 1 km long Sculpture Park pathway that leads you along our ravine edge past our two ponds, cabin in the woods, pavilion that overlooks our big pond, and 10 amazing metal sculptures —all before landing in the woods at the back of the property, where amazing trails await. Those adventurous enough can hike all the way to Big Otter Creek, which is our back yard!
