Terlingua Belle & Private Bath, 15 mins to BBNP

Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse. Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road. The space Drift away to dreamland on a full size mattress with a 2 inch memory foam topper. Cotton sheets and down comforter are provided as well as an extra blanket. There is a heater for chilly nights and mornings. If you are traveling during warmer weather, there is an air conditioner to help keep the tent more comfortable. There are a couple of floor cushions to lounge on when inside. While Belle is a smaller bell tent, the interior still feels quite roomy and comfortable. There is limited wifi inside the tent but you may better access a shared wifi account from the parking area. Belle is meant to be an unplugged experience :-). There is a dual port solar bank for charging phones overnight. Doggy daycare is available for guests traveling with four-legged companions who might like to go somewhere that their pup isn't allowed. Belle is positioned on a deck with a short step down to two comfortable chairs for viewing the Chisos Mountains in the distance. In front of the deck is a small firepit, a weber grill, and a camp kitchen. Camp kitchen - There is a two burner propane stove as well as a cook pot with lid and a cast iron skillet. Inside the kitchen box, you will find cooking utensils, silverware, bowls, plates, glasses, coffee mugs. Salt and pepper and olive are provided as well. There is gravity-fed running water at the tent site for washing dishes. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water! Weber grill - There is a small weber grill with grilling utensils. You'll need to bring your own charcoal. Firepit - you'll need to bring your own firewood. Private bathhouse with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, towels. Getting to the bathhouse requires a short walk but the pathway is well lit. The bathhouse is air-conditioned! Belle is located one mile from the pavement on a dirt road. I recommend a vehicle with a clearance of 4-5 inches but many smaller cars have made the drive without incident. Guest access You will have exclusive use of Belle, the immediate surrounding area and the bathhouse. Other things to note Belle is 15 minutes from the west entrance to Big Bend National Park. Panther Junction Headquarters is another 15 miles. Belle is located on a dirt and gravel road but is accessible by most vehicles if traveled slowly. I have hosted folks driving Harleys, smart cars and other small hybrid cars. Some folks driving small cars have had no trouble with the road while others driving SUVs complain of the road being rough. "Rugged" is up for interpretation. The distance from the pavement is less than a mile. There is limited wifi access. Two dogs live on this property. Doggy daycare services are available! No drones are allowed on this property.
