Almond garden, House with oven

If you are looking for a place where you can be in peace, quiet, in direct contact with nature, but you do not have to hide in the depths of a forest, alone, then you are in the right place! Our guesthouse is the last house in a quiet little sack village in the neighborhood of the Káli basin, surrounded by vineyards and a wonderful natural environment. The Kemencés House is located in one of Hungary's most popular tourist areas, the Balaton Uplands, 7 km from Lake Balaton. The space The Kemencés House was built in 2021 according to the plans of a Ybl award-winning architect. Our concept was to create a guest house where everyone can feel at home. The house is very comfortable to use at once, but also independently on each level. A favorite resting place for multi-generational families or groups of friends. The house is surrounded by a large, private garden – the windows of the rooms below also face it. The garden also has a hammock, ping pong table and trampoline. Next to the house there is a large oven, which is excellent for baking pizza and meat, but we can also provide a charcoal grill. On the lower level of the guest house there is a garden-related kitchen with a dining room that can be opened into the garden, in which there is also a resting area with a sofa. On the lower level there are two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The lower level can sleep 6 people. Upstairs is a separate apartment with its own entrance, a small kitchenette and a hall. The upstairs room is about 40m2, 4-5 people can sleep comfortably in it. There's also a bathroom upstairs. Our guests' favorite place to stay in good weather is the saltwater pool in the almond tree, on the shore of which sun loungers provide comfort. The sauna is available all year round. Guest access The guest house also has its own comfortable, large garden. In the garden there is garden furniture, ping pong table and - if required - trampoline. The stove is also for private use. Guests can use the property's rest house for free, which also has a sauna for 6 people. The saltwater pool with a view of Lake Balaton, located among the almond trees, also serves the comfort of our guests. There are also sun loungers on the shore of the pool, a perfect place to relax. Other things to note Our guest house is the realization of an old dream. My family and I spent many years on holiday in the Balaton Uplands, which completely impressed us, and we returned there year after year. In 2015, we decided to buy a plot of land and build. For 4 years, we were looking for the ideal property where we could realize our own dreams. This is how we found Szentjakabfa with its wonderful location and the estate where we created the Almond Garden in 2021. As an artist and a fan of the Balaton Uplands, I am constantly striving to provide our guests with the comfort and tranquility that I myself experienced decades ago in this region in the Almond Garden. I also work on film shoots and photo shoots in Budapest. From the bustling capital, the intense work environment, it is always very good to arrive in Szentjakabfa, where I decorate the environment with the greatest motivation to make it a pleasure for everyone.
