The space Our bright, thoughtfully styled 3-bedroom family home has everything you need to truly relax and settle in, whether you’re here for a weekend or a longer stay. The open-plan kitchen and living area is the real heart of the home — light-filled, spacious and perfect for gathering together. You’ll find a double oven, 5-burner hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and even a Ninja blender for smoothie fans. Tea, coffee and biscuits are waiting for you on arrival to help you settle in. Upstairs, three beautifully presented bedrooms sleep five comfortably across two doubles and a single. The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with a generous ensuite and a luxurious rainfall shower. There’s also a sparkling family bathroom with a bath — ideal for little ones’ bedtime routines or a long, relaxing soak after a day out. A handy downstairs loo rounds things off nicely. Outside, the large private garden is a real treat. Well-maintained and sunny, it’s equally good for quiet morning coffees, kids burning off energy or winding down with a glass of wine in the evening. There’s comfy patio seating and a selection of outdoor games for everyone to enjoy. We’ve worked hard to make sure you have everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, whatever the reason for your visit. There’s fast Wi-Fi throughout the house, perfect for streaming your favourite shows or catching up on some work if you’re staying for business. You’ll also find a selection of games for children in the TV unit, as well as board games for the grown ups to enjoy. We’re also happy to welcome well-behaved dogs, because they deserve to join the adventures too! We’re tucked away in a quiet residential area that’s still brilliantly connected. Ormskirk town centre is a 15-minute walk, and Aughton Park train station — with direct links to Liverpool — is just 5 minutes on foot. There’s also plenty of parking if you’re arriving by car. Families visiting the local university will find us perfectly placed, and golf fans are very well catered for. Royal Birkdale is just a 20-minute drive, with Southport & Ainsdale, Hillside and Formby all close by too — we’ve welcomed many a golf group over the years! We’ve lived in Ormskirk for years and love this town, so our welcome guide is packed with genuine local recommendations, favourite coffee shops, great restaurants and a few hidden gems we think you’ll love. We also care about doing things a bit more sustainably. Our toiletries are by Miniml - vegan, cruelty-free and kind to the planet and even the loo rolls are Bumboo, made from bamboo, completely plastic-free and honestly the softest you’ll ever try. We love what we’ve created here, and our guests often tell us it truly feels like a home-from-home. We hope you feel exactly the same.
