The space The Mount is a substantial and elegant Edwardian family villa available for holidays and get-togethers for special occasions. Ideal for family and friend celebrations all year round. Up to two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. The Mount's elevated position near the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast means sea views or glimpses from most rooms. Its enclosed, sunny gardens are a great spot to relax and enjoy a game of croquet. With seven bedrooms there's ample space to get together, with room to spread out and enjoy space and personal time too. This extensive property, with its back stairs and servants' rooms is a fabulous piece of old Swanage, originally built for a local entrepreneur who made his fortune building the suburbs of Cardiff. For many years it was the family home of the parish vicar. There is parking for two cars, three at a squeeze, on the driveway and a pay-as-you-go 7.4kw EV charging point that uses the Monta app and a Type 2 cable (not supplied). There's also free on-street parking on two sides of the property. Guest access Entire house and garden, including the lounge, dining hall, music room, kitchen, utility and drying room. Our check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. Other things to note We love dogs and guests can include two well-behaved pets. We ask that dogs remain downstairs and off the furniture at all times, and in the tiled kitchen areas if wet, sandy or muddy. We do not charge extra but in return ask that owners create no extra work for the housekeepers, ie by carefully tidying up after their pets, vacuuming up any hair in the house and binning all waste in the grounds.
