Located in the idyllic village of Wartling in the heart of 1066 country close to Eastbourne. The Bunkhouse is located adjacent to farmland in beautiful rural countryside on a busy country road. The space The Bunkhouse provides spacious, open-plan accommodation arranged on two floors. The light and airy ground floor has the benefit of underfloor heating, walnut flooring throughout and oak-framed french windows. The luxury shower room/WC is fully tiled with a heated towel rail. The living/dining area comprises a comfortable 3 seater sofa and snuggler chair, dining table & chairs and television with Sky TV. The well-equipped kitchen is furnished in a retro style with highly polished restored aluminium & stainless steel units and accessories dating from the 1950s. There is also a Britannia gas range cooker, washing machine/dryer, SMEG fridge, breakfast bar/stools and kettle, toaster, saucepans, crockery and glasses. Access to the first floor is via a bespoke Italian walnut & chrome spiral staircase and includes a comfortable super-king bed with padded leather headboard, bedside cabinets and chest of drawers. The bedroom has far reaching views across the Sussex countryside and Herstmonceux Observatory. A hair dryer and hair straighteners are also provided. NB: Please note that, regrettably, we are unable to accommodate pets or children. Guest access The Bunkhouse has its own private parking area adjacent to the building. Other things to note Tea, coffee & milk are provided. If you have any special requests we will try to accommodate them. NB: the spiral staircase connecting the ground floor to the first floor bedroom may make The Bunkhouse unsuitable for anyone with mobility or balance issues.
