The Boathouse on Moon Lake

Quaint cottage overlooking Beurys Lake...or as my dad lovingly says..."its more like a shallow pond". For those who love a sweet quiet cottage get away with a gorgeous view, this is the perfect place for you. Kayaks and a small boat are here for your use...on my shallow, but pretty lake. Cottage has recently been renovated with love. 2 Queen bedrooms on main level…one with private full bath. Loft area has 2 twin beds…not navigable by very young kiddos or some adults (access is with a ladder) The space Open floor plan on main level with lake views from kitchen, living room and one bedroom. 2 queen beds, 2 full baths and a separate sunroom on the backside of the cottage…the sunroom and the loft/bunk house are the only areas that do not have central air conditioning…fans are provided. A loft/bunk house area with ladder access has 2 twin beds. This is a 1930’s summer cottage that has been renovated & has some quirks. Walls are thin and noise can carry through out the cottage. This is a property for those who can appreciate a unique lakefront cottage in rural Schuylkill County PA surrounded by mountains and nature. We provide K cups for the Keurig as well as firewood for the outdoor firepit. The indoor fireplace is propane There is no cable on the tvs however there are Roku sticks for each. Although the home is situated in a relatively rural area, there are still many things to do. If looking for a bit smaller, I also have The Cottage on Moon Lake, a few houses down. Other things to note Occasionally, the lake is lowered for maintenance or before a large storm to prevent flooding. While I realize this is not ideal for someone coming to a lakefront property, I have really have no control. I appreciate your understanding during these rare times. I also must note that at times, Mother Nature gives us a lot of sunshine...this results in lower lake levels.
