24 Harbour Street is bright house with lots of charm. It boasts beautiful unrestricted views of the sea. Perfectly located for the Shores Restaurant, shop, Plockton Hotel, craft shops & Calum's Seal trips. Situated right on the shore, No. 24 is perfect to unwind or to explore the local area and the Isle of Skye. Sleeps 6, one king, one double & two singles. It has a large private front garden with two decked areas. One area is roofed and includes festive lights to enjoy whatever the weather! 24 Harbour Street is a 3 story stone build house on Harbour Street, Plockton. It has been lovingly refurbished and furnished to a high standard, including extras such as WiFi, 32" smart TV and a filter coffee machine. The interior is beautifully bright with stunning sea views of Plockton bay and Lochcarron from all the bedrooms, living-room and dinning-room. The bedrooms have bay windows and window seats to make the most of the beautiful sea views and to watch the toing and froing of the yachts in the bay. The large private front garden is sheltered and peaceful. The bottom of the front garden is retained by a stone wall, below which is the beach and a shallow bay off the main bay. This is ideal for enjoying the water; swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking or just relaxing. There is also two decked patio areas and picnic bench where you can sit, unwind and enjoy the views. The entrance hallway of No. 24 contains the staircase, door to the living-room, door to the dining-room and a small toilet with wash-hand basin. The large kitchen has an integrated electric oven and hob, a real wood burning stove, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and filter coffee machine. There is a wooden table at one end of the kitchen with seating space for 6 people. There are two large bedrooms and one small single room on the second floor, with a fourth single room on the top floor. All second floor bedrooms have window seats which look over the front garden and have magnificent views of Plockton bay, Loch Carron and the hills and mountains beyond. The double bedroom has an electric flame effect stove. The modern bathroom/shower-room is located on the second floor. Heating is electric throughout. The living-room has a flame effect electric stove and the kitchen a wood-burning stove. We offer a self check-in and I will be in touch before your stay to let you know where to find the key. There is free parking in front of the house on a first come first serve basis. Plockton is a beautiful village set on the west coast of Scotland and often referred to as the "jewel of the Highlands". With its sheltered and tranquil bay, yachts moored, palm trees and surrounding stunning scenery, Plockton is a charming place for all ages to enjoy. 24 Harbour Street is centrally located and only meters away from the local store, and award winning inns and restaurants, where you can you enjoy local produce, especially local seafood and ales. You can try paddle boarding or kayaking, enjoy a seal trip on Calum's boat, tour the Isle of Skye and surrounding area. So many attractions are only a very short distance away. Free parking is outside 24 harbour street, but it is on a first come first serve basis. There is parking on Harbour Street. Plockton has a train station but no bus service. Details of taxis will be available in your welcome pack. We just ask that no outdoor shoes are worn inside please.
