Exactly what you need to wind down after a day in the great outdoors! The rooms area custom built as small cabin rooms with 1 Triple bunk (three beds- standard single bed size). So each triple cabin sleeps x3 people. We keep the service and accommodation basic and rustic so no worries about walking in with wet boots or muddy gear! You'll have to bring your own shower gells/ soaps/ toothpaste or any other personal washing products. We do provide (unusual for most bunkhouses) plenty of pillows, duvex and extra blankets. You will find complimentary tea and coffee and a comfortable stay which is great value for money. The bunkhouse is at the centre of The Fork and Tune property, opening up onto the Festival Garden you are in the heart of the local Pub, with most weekends live entertainment indoors and outdoors, music and lots of atmosphere. Thur - Sunday we are open to the public. Guest access Cwmcarn village is an extremely friendly place, facilities are limited with a local post office, a onestop, local school, barber but perfectly situated only a stones throw from some of the Wales best tracks at Cwmcarn Forest Drive. As many pubs have we have had to turn our car park in an outdoor dining area. But roadside parking is available, we are more than happy for bikes to be brought in and stored on site whether its in the bunkhouse, basement or garage. We are perfectly central to a number of great MTB tracks, 45mins from Bike Park Wales, an hours drive from the black mountains and forest of dean and half a mile tops from Cwmcarn forest Drive. During your stay You're free to come and go as you please, we are available during pub opening hours, to meet you on arrival and departure. Bar staff are available to help if you need assistance, directions, a refreshing beverage or a friendly chat! All entrances are pincoded which gives you the freedom to come and go as early or late as you please. Just be considerate of other guests! Other things to note We are a LIVELY and FRIENDLY pub and very much involved in our community. Please check us out on social media to see the type of pub we are! We have live music most Friday nights and some Saturday evenings. If you're staying with us please note music finishes by midnight and eat plugs are provided! Cwmcarn Forest Drive is renound for down hill mountain biking and treking which is less than 1 mile from us! We are about 45 minutes drive from Bike Park Wales, Merthyr and approximately an hour from The Forest of Dean.
