Description
Peaceful Riverfront Retreat | Three Rivers Near Sequoia A peaceful bungalow-style apartment overlooking the Kaweah River in Three Rivers, just minutes from Sequoia National Park and an easy drive to Kings Canyon. Enjoy coffee on the private deck while listening to the river, then explore nearby trails, cafés, breweries, and local art shops. Whether you’re here to relax or adventure, this cozy riverfront retreat is the perfect place to unwind and feel at home. The space This is one of two unique bungalow style apartments that sit right along the Kaweah River in Three Rivers, California, just a short drive from Sequoia National Park. The two rentals are separated by a breezeway and each accommodates two guests in a comfortable queen bed. The front breezeway entrance is at street level, with a small local shop in front of each unit. The back of the property opens to the river below, where a private deck overlooks the water — a quiet spot to unwind, listen to the river, and take in the mountain air. There are no residences or businesses directly below the units, offering privacy and calm. The apartments are in the center of town, so you’ll hear a bit of daytime activity from nearby shops, but most close around 4:00 PM, leaving peaceful evenings by the river. Guest access Directions, check-in instructions, and door access codes will be provided through the Airbnb app prior to arrival for convenient self check-in. The property includes two completely separate apartments, each with its own private entrance. The deck shown in the photos is attached to this apartment and private. If another guest is staying in the adjacent unit, you may occasionally see or hear them coming and going. The half-acre river frontage is a shared outdoor space, available for all guests to enjoy respectfully. Each unit has one reserved parking space, clearly marked with a sign for its respective apartment. Expect a quiet, serene retreat within walking distance of local cafés, shops, and river access. Other things to note This private retreat features one queen bed and is designed for a maximum of two adult guests. A pack-and-play is available upon request for one infant (under 2 years old) — please inquire in advance so we can have it ready for you. The couch is not intended or suitable for sleeping, as it cannot be laundered to the same sanitation standards as bedding. To maintain utility impact, guest comfort and general safety standards, additional overnight guests or air mattresses are not permitted. The unit includes a staircase and sits close and unrestricted to both the river and highway, so it may not be suitable for young or mobile children. Parents and guardians should use their discretion when booking. There is one reserved parking space on-site; additional reserved parking is not available, so please plan accordingly. This property is located in a mountain community, where power or internet outages may occasionally occur. Due to the risk of wildfire in this area, utility companies can deem outages a necessity for public safety. These events are outside our control, and refunds are not issued for outages of this nature. We do keep battery operated lights inside the apartment. Out of consideration for the property owner, who works and resides on-site and has significant allergies, pets are not permitted under any circumstance. We fully comply with Airbnb’s Accessibility Policy and are happy to accommodate trained service animals required for a disability. Guests traveling with a service animal are asked to inquire before booking so we can prepare the space appropriately and minimize allergen exposure after the stay. When hosting service animals, we ask that they be housebroken, under control at all times, and not left unattended inside the apartment. Guests are responsible for any damage (not related to regular wear and tear) caused by their animals or for violations of house rules related to service animal accommodation. Please note that essential oils are diffused in the space between visits. These natural oils are not considered safe for animals, so advance notice helps us prepare appropriately for any service-animal accommodations. For your planning, Sequoia National Park only allows trained service animals in certain paved or designated areas. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted on most trails. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and allergy-friendly environment for all guests.
