Mistress Block Vineyard - The Pavilion

Mistress Block Vineyard is one of the iconic Shiraz vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Planted in 1968 it has Heritage Vineyard status within the Valley. With sweeping views across the Lower Hunter region and across to the Watagan Mountain range in the east. The accommodation comprises of three separate unique and private dwellings located within the beautiful gardens on the property. Mistress Block Vineyard is centrally located in Pokolbin, close to many attractions and events. The space The Pavilion is one of three accommodation options nestled on the hill of the Mistress Block Vineyard. It is located approximately 30 metres from the owners residence. With views over vineyards and the Brokenback Range, The Pavilion is perfect for all seasons. The living, kitchen and dining area are open plan and self-contained with an open fireplace for the winter months (June to September), ceiling fans, air conditioner and access to the 10-metre pool in the summer. months (November to March). The bedroom is air conditioned with a king size bed and the bathroom has a separate shower and bath. The kitchen includes speciality teas and Nespresso making facilities. Full size fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, electric grill, single hob induction cooktop and dishwasher. The Pavilion is spacious with two outside patios. One overlooking the pool and the other off the bedroom with views across to The Watagan Mountains. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Walk around the gardens and citrus fruit grove or venture out to nearby wineries, (Audrey Wilkinson is a 300 metre walk from our back gate), cellar doors, restaurants and attractions. There are bush trails nearby to wander and listen to the local birdlife and spot a wombat or kangaroo. A home away from home to do as little or as much as you like.
