Located in the bucolic Hudson Valley, this new, gut-renovated cottage isn't far from many of the area's most loved spots. In the winter you can wander trails and get cozy by our electric fireplace. In the spring you can picnic your way through historic sites and enjoy a glass of local wine on our back deck. In the summer you can ride a horse and cook with seasonal ingredients from local farms. In the fall you can hike through the Hudson Valley's perfect colors and sip hot cider on our back deck. The space Laughing Duck is a newly gut-renovated cottage that sits on an acre of land. The vaulted ceilings and open kitchen create an airy, light-filled and quiet getaway. The screened French doors make the living room feel even bigger. The back of the house abuts a neighboring house, but you'll barely know it's there. There is a private garage near the driveway on the property. Other things to note As of the time of listing there is a portable garage on the side of the property, visible from the side deck. There are definite plans for removal, but as Airbnb users ourselves, we always prefer the full picture of our property surroundings when we book a stay.
