A beautiful 4-bed detached villa with private hot tub on the ground floor decking overlooking the lake. Even better, the Luxury Spa facility is all but 60 seconds walk away – so plenty of opportunity to sit back, relax & enjoy your stay. SORRY NO HEN/STAG GROUPS GROUND FLOOR: Set back from the road and nestled between the trees, lies the contemporary yew tree lodge. the external porch with bench and coat hooks allows children to shake off wellies before entering the property and down the long inviting hallway towards the hub of the house. A wide opening to the property allows further space to sit and kick off your shoes. Turning right, you walk into a well-appointed - and equipped – kitchen, complete with breakfast bar, making it a sociable area for those wishing to try out their culinary skills. the kitchen flows through to the open plan dining area – with seating for 10 - in the centre of the house. Further down lies the living area that is filled with natural light. It is at this point that you are greeted with your first sight of the beautifully mature, Clearwater Lake. This maturity of Clearwater gives you both a sense of privacy, whilst affording beautiful views of the water. The lake’s flora and colours change season on season, so your view changes throughout the year. With a large corner sofa, Scandinavian style wood burner and large smart tv, this really is the hub of the home. The ground floor also has a convenient WC. Opening the floor to ceiling glazed doors directly from the living room, you can step out onto your private ground floor decking area. Having this door open allows for a free-flowing design and continuation to lodge’s entertainment space, offering relaxation indoors and out. The expansive ground floor decking area, flanked by planted screens for additional privacy, has an alfresco dining area for those lovely lunches, evening drinks and morning coffees. Your hot tub sits on the terrace overlooking the beautiful lake. Dropping down onto the small garden area before making the most of the steps to launch your paddleboards and kayaks directly onto the lake. Please note that this area does not have balustrades. FIRST FLOOR: The first floor of the property has 3 of the 4 bedrooms. To the left is the vast master bedroom. With its double height ceiling and large floor space, this bedroom has been cleverly designed to make the most of the view from the additional balcony area that lies to the left of the king size bed – affording stunning views of Clearwater Lake when waking. The covered, and rather large, private balcony has two comfortable sun loungers - perfect for that relaxing morning coffee. The master bedroom also has two double wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. Across the landing is a twin room with two full size single beds, again with an integrated double wardrobe. The third bedroom on this floor sleeps 3 guests on a triple bunkbed - a full-sized double bed and a single bed above. An integrated double wardrobe completes the room. The family bathroom with bath and shower above serves the twin and triple bunkbed rooms. SECOND FLOOR: On the second floor you’ll find another landing area, from which a further double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, and ensuite with bathtub and shower above. PETS: Yew Tree Lodge is a dog friendly house and welcomes guests with up to 2 small/medium sized dogs by prior arrangement. N.B. the 'single Z bed' in the master bedroom can be moved and could fit in the second floor double bedroom also. This option, however, is not suitable for an adult; we would recommend using this as a single bed for child or teenager only Guest access You will have the entire home during your stay. All guests will receive full rental access to the Luxury Spa for the full duration of their stay, included in the cost of their holiday - only a short walk from the property. Upon booking, you will receive a welcome email from us which includes a unique 'guest portal' and a detailed 'Journey to Arrival' PDF - a document created to assist and help plan your stay with us; including places to eat, places to visit, things to do and our FAQs. 14 days prior to your arrival day you will receive a further email (double check your spam / junk folders) which will include your 'cheat sheet'. This provides you with directions, a map, and codes to access the Estate and your property. Other things to note The Spa, swimming pools and gym are shared facilities with the other properties on Lower Mill Estate. Facilities on the Estate, including The Lower Mill Spa, Ballihoo, Soft Play, and others, are managed and operated by third parties and we have no control or influence on their availability and/or prices offered.
