Welcome to our small, secluded island of Vassøy, just a 10-minute picturesque boat-ride from Stavanger city centre. In our newly refurbished vacation house you will find everything you need for a quiet, relaxing holiday - whether you choose to stay for only one night or for one month! The 60 m2 guest house is modern and stylish, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, both for couples, friends or a family with children. Ideal to relax after visiting Stavanger or Pulpit Rock. The space Situated at the beach, you can catch your own fish and use the BBQ to cook your own dinner - or you can opt for the full-pension alternative with excellent home cooking and a large selection of wines from our wine cellar. The garden has room for games and relaxation, and the roof terrace has a splendid view of the sea and mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, and at the local shop you will find all the basic food supplies you need. Guest access There are plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy, weather allowing. Garden, beach, terraces and free parking on the premises. Other things to note We have kayaks for rent, fishing gear for you to borrow, and you may also rent our Tesla if you need transportation. Stavanger city centre is only 10 minutes away, and the boat costs the same as a bus ticket. A car is not needed on the island, meaning that you can leave the car at our property, enjoy Stavanger’s excellent restaurants or nightlife and return on foot late at night.
