Enjoy Portland like a local! Located in the Concordia neighborhood, this home sits next to a large city park (Fernhill Park) and is within walking distance to New Seasons Grocery as well as the Alberta Arts District (10 minute walk). It's also not far to McMenamins Kennedy School (1 block) for great pub grub, microbrews, and movie theaters. This charming basement space is comprised of one bedroom and a separate living area/combined kitchen area. Modern furnishings sit throughout and include smart tv with Netflix, a new Article sleeper sofa, and a cafe dinette set. There are also several board games and books to help you find great local hikes and restaurants in the area. The home is also WiFi equipped with super fast internet to make WFH a breeze.. Use the kitchen's stainless steel appliances and plenty of cookware to whip up a feast. Eat together at the two-seat cafe table or dine al fresco on the patio if the weather permits. There are two spare chairs for seating for four. Up to four guests will sleep comfortably here on queen bed in the bedroom, and double memory foam sleeper sofa. Local activities include browsing eclectic shops, restaurants, and live music venues along Alberta St., renting bikes for a scenic ride along the Columbia River on NE Marine Drive (three miles north), or wildlife viewing at Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area (six and a half miles northwest). Easily accessible by public transit, downtown Portland (about six miles) is also worth a visit, as is the pristine Pacific Northwest habitat in Forest Park, which lies a bit further up into the West Hills. Please note that we live upstairs of the rental, so footsteps and the sound of children may be heard, similar to any apartment building. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Guest access The neighborhood is very walkable. We are a 5 minute walk to New Seasons (grocery store), restaurants, bars, and coffee. Walk another few minutes to Alberta Street and there's tons of shopping and restaurants. Other things to note It's important to know that our family lives upstairs so noise levels need to be respectful. This is not the place to rent to have gatherings or parties. Our kids go to sleep by 8pm. This is the perfect space for a couple to rent who want to explore Portland or visit people. Registration Details 21-086979-000-00-HO
