Tucked away just 5 blocks south of Center Street in Provo sits a cozy historic 1905 bungalow, fully remodeled and perfect for 2 when seeking a respite from the day! With its high ceilings, big windows and lovingly restored hardwood floors, much of the original charm still exists after a full remodel. Close to BYU and UVU and an easy drive up to Sundance! Relax and Enjoy our hospitality! The space The space includes the main floor of the house with a covered front porch, and side screened porch. The back yard is fenced in and is equipped with a Weber grill and patio dining. There are 3 steps to enter the home from both porches. Customizable keyless entries are at both doors. Parking is available on the right side of the driveway or on the street in front of the home. The basement of the home has a full time renter. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. Well lit at night, the home feels warm and welcoming and safe. The front porch, with it's Haint Blue ceiling, is a great spot to wind down and enjoy a summer sunset while the side porch offers space to store skis and bikes. During the winter, with a flip of a switch you can cozy up to the fire, and enjoy a movie while dinner is cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. Or if you're too tired to cook, local restaurants and take out/delivery services are ample. Drip filter and a Keurig mini as well as a water kettle are available for coffee and tea which are provided. Expect a welcome basket of snacks and water bottles and enjoy a good nights sleep on our king size Serena and Lily bed with fresh high quality Cozy Earth Bamboo sheets! The tranquil sunny setting in the bath includes a large walk in shower, with the most luxurious towels and bathing amenities. For privacy, we have installed blackout blinds in the bedroom and bathroom. For your safety, the house is deeply sanitized between guests, smoke detectors and security sensors have been installed, and we provide a first-aid kit and fire extinguisher. We keep basic supplies like kitchen spices, dishwasher and laundry soap, cleaning supplies, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, blow dryer, body wash and hand soap. Equipped with a stackable washer and dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric oven, microwave, 55" smart tv, high speed internet and wi-fi, books, games, record player, heating and cooling fans, 2 umbrellas, blanket throws, and dimmers on most lights, make this home a very comfortable and relaxing stay! Guest access You have access to the main floor of the house, the front porch, the back yard and the right side of the driveway. Other things to note Just a reminder that the basement apartment has full time renters. They will be rolling out the trash can on Tuesday evenings, and they have saved parking on the left side of the driveway.
