Description

Welcome to our Victorian home that blends 19th-century charm with comfort. This suite offers two private bedrooms—one queen and one full bed—and a shared full bathroom exclusively for your group. Set in a classic Vermont village, it’s the perfect base for up to four guests to enjoy the area’s best activities: skiing, mountain biking trails, and the unforgettable fall foliage. After a day outdoors, relax in the warm, B&B-style atmosphere and soak in the quiet elegance of this historic property. The space If your desired dates are booked, check out our other listings! airbnb.com/h/brigidscrossing1 airbnb.com/h/brigidscrossing3 We'd love to host you in our incredible historical registry home. It's been almost twenty years since our home was run as a Bed and Breakfast, and we'd love for you to see the transformation as we work on transitioning it back! This listing provides two of our quaint rooms with a shared full bathroom accessible through the bedroom with the full bed. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has a full bed, and the bathroom has a standing shower stall. Although we cannot yet prepare hot breakfasts as we work on acquiring permits and completing kitchen renovations, we are pleased to offer a mini-fridge with a few snacks options and a microwave. Additional shared space on the property includes access to our lounge and the dining room. We are incredibly lucky to be located in the center of town! We share the village green with the historical society and the oldest church in town. Located directly across the street is Crossman's General Store, where you can get coffee and a sandwich (or anything else you need!) as early as 6 am. Please note that there are no restaurants in town -- but Middletown was named so because it's right in the middle of multiple larger towns! Let us know what kind of food you're looking for and we can point you in the right direction. Guest access We can accommodate up to two cars for this listing in free, on-site parking. Please note that guests must be able to climb the porch stairs as well as a staircase to the second floor. If you are staying with children under 12, please supervise them! The house is very large and easy to get lost in, and we cannot guarantee a safe environment for children in areas that are off limits to guests. During your stay I live on the property with my two pets and my co-host, Andrew. If you need anything during your stay, feel free to message us in the app and we will try to accommodate your request as soon as possible. Other things to note We have two sweet pets on the property now -- a cat named Kitkat and a dog named Fenrir. Although we keep the cat out of the guest rooms, sometimes guests allow her in, and therefore we cannot prevent all allergens. If you are severely allergic to cats, we cannot guarantee a pet-free visit. Our dog Fenrir does not have access to guests and can be quite nervous about new people.
