Surrounded with a 360-degree view of dense Oak and Deodar forest, sparsely situated fields, fruit orchards and 180-degree snow-capped Himalayan view on clear sky days, sits Homfortable Loshgyani, a 2 acre estate, majestically on a tabletop near Mukteshwar The space There is a magical and mystical vibe to the estate due to its location and views. We are a family residing in a separate cottage on the same estate. Five villagers who are chefs, housekeepers and caretakers amongst themselves live on the same property and help us with the upkeep of the place. Our meals, prepared by our expert chefs, are an elaborate affair with Kumaoni, veg and non-veg meals on offer. Bedrooms - Cyfrin means Mystic as a Greek name and that is exactly what the vibe of this large and well appointed room overlooking the mightly snow capped Himalayan range is. With its rustic interiors and luxury setting, the room comes with its tastefully done up ensuite washroom and large Kumaoni style veranda. Step out to get views of peaks like Kedarnath, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli, Chaukhamba, Hathi Parvath to name a few. The Himalayan range visible from the estate starts at Garhwal Himalayas to Nepal Himalayas - a beautiful 180 degree surreal view along with dense Oak and Deodar forest & lush valley views. The Estate overall has 3 cottages [ 1 stone cottage, 1 Kumaoni heritage cottage and 1 mudhouse (currently blocked for hosts)]. The stone cottage houses 4 independent rooms with attached washrooms. Each of the room has a sit out and patio to enjoy the views during the day and the starry night seemingly on ground and above in the sky at night. The rooms are large at 300 sq feet. The cottage itself is magestic and its huge white patio pillars give it a colonial vibe which is aptly coupled with traditional Kumaoni feel in its architecture. It is a unique culmination in itself. The Kumaoni cottage is a heritage cottage, which has been painstakingly restored to its current charm. The entire cottage is painstakingly restored using locally sourced stones and mud by local artisans in a true authentic Kumaoni architecture style. The cottages are a beautiful integration of modern and traditional in its effort to provide sustainable living. As an example the entire cottage is built using locally sourced stones and mud by local artisans. The structure uses mud instead of cement to bind the stones together and the process is called "mitti chinai" (mud joints). The Dining We believe meal times are private and intimate family and friends times and to enhance this experience you shall have access to our large and plush dining and lounge, which is again a traditional stone structure. The meal time experience at Homfortable Loshgyani is designed to give the best fine dining experience to our guests at this secluded and remote location. Guest access You will have full access to the entire property and the dense forest around. Grab a chair and soak in the sun and views from any spot you desire. The layered colours and hues all around coupled with the calmness of the place are a treat to the eyes and soul alike. You would not have access to the kitchen and utility area yourself and the staff will be there to take care of your needs. We offer laundry services at an additional charge. Other things to note House Rules 1) Request your kind consideration and adhere to our meal times so that we can serve you to the best of our capabilities, clean up after you in time and maintain privacy for other guests. Breakfast - 9 am – 10:30 am Lunch - 1 pm – 2:30 pm Dinner - 8 pm - 9:30 pm 2) Please be mindful of the check-out time so that the rooms can be prepared for the next guests coming in. Check-in : 2 pm Check-out : 11 am 3) Guest meals menu is fixed and is designed to give maximum variation in food preparation throughout your stay. It is also created to give fine dining experience to our guests. 4) We are not a typical Hotel or Resort and we do not serve meals in the rooms. Our meals are elaborate multi-course affair and neither our operations nor our room design supports such a service. We are focused on providing enhanced mealtime experiences through our cuisine and dining and therefore the meals are served only in the dining and lounge, a large comfortable space on the estate. 5) We are trying to stay sustainable to the best of our capability and water is a scare resource in the mountains. We change towels after every 3 days and bedsheet after every 7 days for a single check-in. 6) We do housekeeping on need basis and you can let us know in morning on days when you need to have your room cleaned. 7)Please be mindful of energy conservation and switch off lights and other electric devices when not in use. 8) We are a fully self-sustainable estate through water harvesting. Also again water is a very scare and expensive resource in the mountains. Please use it judiciously. 9) Although we are a pet friendly property, we do not allow pets on couches, beds and tables to stay true to the hygiene and cleanliness standards that Homfortable has set for itself. Any violation will incur Rs 2,000 of dry cleaning charges per piece. 10) We also serve snacks with a limited menu in the evening between 6-7 pm. Every food at Homfortable Loshgyani is prepared fresh and we need an advance notice of few hours to be able to source the required supplies for snacks. Please adhere to this so that we can provide you the best preparations possible. 11) Bonfire is not included in the tariff and is priced at Rs 2,000. Beyond 2 hours, it will be charged at Rs 1,000 per hour. Please do not request for inclusion of bonfire in the room tariff. 12) All our rooms are non-smoking rooms 13) Wi-Fi and parking is provided along with the rooms.
