Relax on the glider or basket chair swing on the covered front porch or swing in the hammock out back watching golfers putt the 13th hole. There's also a deck with a sofa & chairs to hang out on. A haven, home-away-from-home for visitors to charming historic Aiken SC. Equestrians & golfers welcome! 3 mi to Bruce's Field, 2 min to Downtown & Hitchcock Woods. The space Updated 1942 home, decorated with beachy neutrals and cozy touches, the house has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Your room is the larger bedroom, facing the front of the house. It has a comfy new Queen size memory foam mattress, blinds, blackout drapes, a silent ceiling fan, nightstand table, and reading light. You may hear some street noise as Hayne Avenue has traffic. The house has central AC and heat, a washer/dryer, SmartTV with Chromecast and Roku for streaming. A fully-equipped kitchen has pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, French press, coffee maker, toaster oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and glass range. You will have space in the fridge and pantry if you'd like. Make yourself at home. Guest access Lots of free parking behind the house. If needed, I can give you access to store your bike, kayak, or other equipment in the locked shed. During your stay I will welcome you and be available for questions as much or as little as you feel up to. I respect my guests' privacy and social preferences. Other things to note The house and property are both completely non-smoking. I ask that if you are a smoker, you don't book this home. The TV has a Chromecast available for you to stream your subscribed channels, please note there is no cable TV. Feel free to bring your own Firestick, Roku or AppleTV also if you wish!
