The Shed House - Unique Farm Stay

The Shed House is a one-of-a-kind two-bedroom retreat just 7 minutes from historic Yackandandah. Surrounded by beautiful established gardens, it offers sweeping views over rolling farmland and to the mountains beyond. The property is a 150-acre working farm, where we raise grass-fed beef and grow seasonal vegetables for the Yack community. After a day of exploring, unwind in the vintage bathtub or relax under the vine-covered verandah and watch the sun slip behind the hills. The space Features of the Shed House - Two bedrooms - One King size bed (can be split into two singles) - One queen size bed - Open plan kitchen, living, dining - New, fully equipped kitchen with electric hot plates, electric oven, microwave, full-size fridge/freezer and dishwasher. - Basic supplies to help prepare your own meals - A comfortable, new sofa - TV with streaming services available - Bathroom with toilet, shower and deep vintage cast iron bathtub. - Laundry with front loading washing machine - Split system air-conditioning - Northeast facing verandah for outdoor dining As The Shed House is located on a working farm with no fenced yard we are unable to accommodate pets at this time. The home is also unsuitable for small children for the same reason. Guest access The Shed House is a fully self contained cottage. It is located far enough from the main farm house, for privacy, but close enough to reach out if you need anything. Other things to note We pride ourselves on offering a spotless, welcoming space where you can truly unwind. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the bedrooms have new blockout blinds, and the kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to cook for yourselves. It’s the perfect place to relax and base yourselves while exploring all the delights of the local area. Bushwalkers and mountain-bike riders will love the nearby forest trails, with routes to suit every level.
