The space The house is in a quiet neighborhood and has 3 stories. The guest suite is all contained to the lower floor of the house, has its own entry, and is 100% private. There is beautiful cherry wood furniture throughout, warm and glowing Himalayan salt lamps, and every window is adorned with composite wood, horizontal blinds. When approaching the house, you’ll find 2 steps up to the front door (handrails for any steps on property). The house is split-level, so inside the front door, you'll find doors to my space and the guest suite. There are 7 steps down to the unit and electric locks on the front and guest suite doors. You’ll receive check-in info, with pictures and other details, before you arrive. *PROTIP!! Download Airbnb app, for ease of information and communication with host, prior to and during your stay. *KITCHENETTE* The guest suite offers a beautiful butcherblock counter and space to brew coffee, eat breakfast, make light snacks, and prep takeout. *Outdoor propane grill available for use, upon request. (PLEASE NOTE: as pictured, there is no full stove or sink in the kitchenette. Many things are easily prepared and host offers clean dish exchange, when needed. There is also a supply of disposable paper/plasticware products provided.) Kitchenette stocked with: *Sedona Spring Water *Keurig Coffee Maker, Full-Size Coffee Pot/Filters, Hot Water Kettle *Selection of Keurig Coffee Pods, Teas, Coffee & Tea Fixings *Light Breakfast Items, Snacks, Cold Beverages, & Sweet Treats *Refrigerator/Freezer *Electric Skillet *Microwave *Toaster Oven *3.2 quart Air Fryer *Dishes & Utensils, Glassware, Barware, Silverware *Plastic Storage Containers *Disposable Plates/Bowls & Plasticware *Aluminum Foil, Plastic Wrap, Ziplock Bags, Paper Towels *LIVING ROOM* The living room has a 50" Roku Smart TV (includes Netflix account for guest suite and has access to other streaming apps) along with basic cable channels, Blu-ray DVD player with a large variety of all ages DVD's, and 2 full size couches (one has a full size pull-out bed) with plenty of room to spread out. There's a small dining table with basic office essentials, that can double as a workspace. A guest information book is provided that showcases a large variety of local attractions, favorite restaurants & a list of breweries, a map to the forest entrances within walking distance of the house, as well as local neighborhood info. *A/C unit added during warmer summer months. *BEDROOMS* There are 2 bedrooms. Each one has a luxurious, hybrid, queen-size mattress fitted with 100% cotton sheets, 32" Roku Smart TV, full length mirror, luggage rack, laundry basket, hangers, small fan, back up comforter, and plenty of storage, allowing you to unpack and really feel like home. In the larger bedroom’s armoire, you'll find a Bluetooth speaker and a selection of all-ages cards, games, and books (including many about the local area). An iron, ironing board, extra pillows and comforter for sofa bed, pack-and-play, baby bath, and a card table with 4 chairs, are also stored in this bedroom's closet. *BATHROOM* The bathroom has a bathtub/shower, single sink and toilet. Aveeno and Aussie products are stocked in bathroom, along with multiple bathroom amenities and other essentials, that can easily be forgotten while traveling. *PARKING/OUTDOOR AREA* There is a private outdoor seating area for you to use at your leisure. It offers beautiful views of the sunset and has solar lights that make the space come alive at night! This property provides you 2 off-street parking spaces for SMALL to MEDIUM sized vehicles. There is plenty of street parking to accommodate additional or larger vehicles (however street parking is restricted from 12am-7am, November 1st to April 1st, due to our city winter ordinance). There are motion-sensor spotlights for safety at night. *In addition to Airbnb's 5-step enhanced cleaning process, hand sanitizer, Lysol spray, and disinfecting wipes are available for use. Guest access Less than 2 miles off of the I-40 freeway, in a quiet neighborhood at the base of Mt. Elden, with many conveniences and hiking trails nearby. Other things to note *5G Wifi, Netflix, & Cable Included SUMMER INFO: There is a seasonal, floor air conditioning unit, in the living room, that will be available for use during the hot summer months. However, the guest suite is the lower level of the house and naturally stays cooler than outdoor temps (for example when 90* outside, which is very rare for this area, it will be 78* in the suite). *PROTIP! Leave windows open during the evening to let in the crisp, cool, mountain air, and shut them in the morning before the temperature rises. There’s also a fan in every room for added airflow and comfort. *WINTER INFO: Outdoor seating could be compromised due to snowy weather. I will maintain snow shoveling to the best of my ability. There will also be shovels and a window scraper available for your use, as necessary. During the colder months, the house heater is set between 68*-72*, depending on the outdoor temperature. The thermostat controls the suite and a portion of my home. I have found this to be a comfortable temperature range for me and my guests. However, I am flexible if you run hot/cold :), so please communicate any concerns prior to your booking, as the thermostat is locked. Thank you!
